this freezing started on latest update from AMD 24.1.1 my gpu is RX 6700(non XT)
and it only happens on codwz i didn't feel any problem on AC syndicate, control, etc,
the problem is game freezes mid game and even on menu and it stays like that until i press WINDOWS key

Idk if this had anything to do with it... but mine was doing this and could not get it to start... i uninstalled Rewasd and it loaded... i know they said they were implementing a ban on the program... so maybe that's why? could just be coincidence though.
I think Rewasd is the problem. I just uninstalled it and it fixed the problem.

Ok Thanks boys, Disabled on start up....Cod never last over 1min from launching...Uninstalled. Now it does (plus along with alot of the steps in this vid)....Even though rewasd was never launched... COD would still force crash me, how dumb...
Now i have to choose between this game, that i would hate to use controller for..... Or the multitude of other games i use ReWASD for....

just changed the power settings on my pc from high performance to balanced and it worked for me, no crash at startup

Would this work for the whole game and not just warzone? My game can’t get passed the booting beginning scenes to connect to online server
Mine keeps crashing after I load in. It lets me load it up half the time but only stays open for a minute or two

If you have REWASD uninstall it. Even when disabled or not running cod will crash.

I got a new pc 3 days ago and installed the wz3 the problem started last night , I have. RX 7600 8gb and the game now is crashing every time that shaders run when I started woithout it look horrible but I can play but I can’t see anything , somebody could help me ? This is driving me crazy

@skyblahblah.. did you fully uninstall it through windows? Did you tick the boxes to delete all the data in rewasd and it had to restart the pc to complete the uninstall

Why is no one covering the crashing bug? Like I haven’t been able to play mw3 for the past month the game will act like it’s opening, get to loading player stats then just close or sometimes it’ll close on network connecting. I just wanna play the game bro. And I’m steam and all my friends are having the same problem

@@sanskarpradhan1289 hey sorry for the late response so he’s me and someone that was helping me we found the issue it’s some kennelbase.dll file that’s causing a corruption we tried everything and it got to the point that we was gonna have to reset my pc and I’m not doing that just to play cod so I just deleted the same maybe someday I’ll feel up to it I just have a lot of stuff I’m gonna have to fix that I don’t want to lol

reWASD, AntiMicro and ExitLag all need to be uninstalled, u might have them i did, n didn’t know, also if that’s not it, try to find the COD launcher app file, and right click, then go to properties, and click something that says “disable full screen optimization” and also disable “Run As Admin” if that doesn’t work, then enable it, that fixed it for me.
