I like watching videos like these since I'm still studying to be a UX Designer! I appreciate how you detailed what each meeting/task involved, it makes things seem less intimidating. Thanks!!

Glad it was helpful :) what made you want to switch to UX and what's been your favourite learning so far?

@@HanBang I switched to UX after graduating with a BBA majoring in entrepreneurship but had no hard skills. When looking at jobs, I didn't qualify for anything I found interesting or creative. Then, I was randomly putting together a customized financial tracker for a friend's business to make recording transactions more pleasant when my boyfriend said that what I was doing was basically UX and how he thought I would really enjoy that career. He then showed me a few videos explaining UX, and I was hooked! Since then, I've taken many online courses and am about to graduate with a master's certificate in UX Strategy.
At the top of my head, my favorite learning has been the tools and frameworks I can use to approach challenges. Before, I wouldn't know where to start. I also feel more confident knowing I can prototype solutions. Thanks again for what you share about UX on your channel! It helps me visualize my goal of working remotely as a UX Designer. :)

@@creatoratplay Whoa, what an interesting introduction into UX! I'm so glad someone was able to help connect the dots for you to look into this industry. Tools and framewoks are among my favourite things about UX too. It has helped my problem solving skills so much even in non-product design related situations. All the best with your Master's and breaking into UX :) Let me know if you have any specific topics you'd like to see covered and I'll try my best to answer them!

@@HanBang Thank you!! I'm playing catch up with your videos, and you hit many of the points I'm most curious about, like the ones you made for recent grads looking to fill a UX role and preparing a UX presentation. Even the one you posted about perfectionism. That's a big hurdle for me in building a portfolio once I graduate since I can be susceptible to "analysis paralysis". If I think of anything you haven't already done, I'll comment under one of your videos! ☺🙏
