Good stuff Chris! In addition to what you're teaching here, one thing I like to add when building campaigns is separating out Branded vs. Non-Branded terms. I see this too often when taking over an account where the terms are mixed in a campaign and it seems like the campaign is doing well when looking at the metrics, but a deep dive then shows it's mostly branded terms converting. This is where I utilize Negative Targeting in my non-brand campaigns to exclude the client branded terms, then I create totally separate branded campaigns.
Totally agree. Great comment.
I always find your videos super helpful and easy to follow! Thank you for sharing your expertise with us

Thank you i launch within the next week or so with variations on a shoe string budget being very scrappy Beg, Borrow Steel 🙂
Gotta be scrappy during launch!
Very informative
Incredible Content, Very helpful. Shines like always 🥰🥰
Can you please share the Naming Convention Sheet. THANKS
Great content! Would you recommend negating high-performing exact match keywords in an auto-research campaign to avoid Amazon spending on keywords that are already performing well in other campaigns?
If it is performing well just leave it. Sometimes the same target performs better in an auto or broad campaign than an exact campaign only the amz algo gods know why
Hi Chris, thanks for the information on the starting bid. I have a question: When launching a completely new product with no past history, what percentage value should we use to estimate the conversion rate? Need your comment on this please reply this will new sellers like us
You can use brand analytics inside Amazon to estimate the conversion rate of the space and use that to start, then adjust based on the real metrics you get when the product starts selling
Can you combine all match types(exact/phrase/broad) under one campaign instead of separate campaigns by match type? One of my friend's company always combines everything and has had great results so far.
Yes you can but it's it's more organized and easier to pull the data if you separate campaigns by match type
@@Chris-Rawlings Is it only for easy organization purpose?, or does it make any difference in terms of better ctr/cvr if we separate them by match type?
"Chris, my variations just hit the Vine program with reviews rolling in (15, 15, and 8). PPC is set at $0.30 bids on auto and broad campaigns to gather data. As reviews increase and I start seeing conversion, what’s the optimal structure for scaling up while keeping ACoS low? Should I be splitting campaigns by match type or focusing on tighter targeting strategies for high-converting keywords? Appreciate your insight!"
Focus on broad and exact campaigns as your bread and butter. Tightly restricted auto campaigns to keep feeding new targets. Go deeper on the targets that perform well and make Sponsored brand video campaigns tailored to those targets to get an unfair advantage
@@Chris-Rawlings yea I'm watching you Christmas eve gift now. My sales have completely stopped so I had my listing optimized with photos professionally by bluebird and still no sales so now . I have my original keywords from a 2 month search I did on hellium 10 and will apply your strategy using my once converting keywords and sell the 120 gift sets so I can have some reorder money at least a few grand .no one wants to do ppc management for my 120 units but I can't get traction to scale
Hi Chris, I've tried your method to calculate the CPC bid, but it's so low that I get no impressions
keep upping the bid until you start getting impressions. You can try up and down bidding strategy to start to find where the bid should be.
