For the life of me, I can't understand why they are looking to trade Jarnkrok or Kampf. Also they each have a 10 team no trade clause - so it might be hard to move those players. Timothy Liljegren, on the other hand, is twice as useless, takes up $3 Million off the cap and he has no trade limitations. He's the one to trade.
Sin es Patches was "signed" and with Lorentz to be brought on board from PTO, ya time is ticking to get the moves. Or else, go into a game with 18 skaters or so.😅
Trading Reaves frees up like 500k. Hes not the one to move if your goal is cap space. It just doesnt do enough. Yes, he makes 1.35M against the cap, but you would still need to replace Reaves in the line up with someone else making 800k or so. That only gives the Leafs 500k cap space, it doesnt free up enough space and Reaves plays his role well, hes actually looked good ever since coming back from the leg injury last season, and hes had a good pre season.

Why isn't Reaves being mentioned?!! This is ridiculous... they can't afford the luxury of 'optics & intimidation' with the salary cap hit he carries.
