Is it true that there should be a 5-7 day interval when pinning the same URL even though it’s a fresh pin. You can’t just post the same url daily you have to wait 5-7 days before that the rule I read but idk if that only applies to a. Same pin or URL LINK?
I personally wouldn't post the same link daily, just to be safe. But Pinterest has changed a bit so you could probably post the same link every 2-3 days now. You just want to be careful you don't get marked as spam, and posting the same link every day might be too much!
Hi! Is there such thing as posting too much in one day? like does a fresh pin stop traffic on another pin posted hours even minutes before? thank you your video was very helpful!!
It's not recommended that you post like 15-25 times a day, but I bought you'd be pinning that high anyway! Otherwise, no. Posting too close together as far as I'm aware shouldn't effect anything. Although I do like to space my pins out. I usually do morning, afternoon & night!
I used to pin 7 times a day, now i'm pining 5 and might lower it to 4. does the title of the pin need to match the title of the link of your blog post ?
No it does not! It should include your target keyword, but you can change up your titles. they don't need to match the blog post title or the link perfectly, its actually better to change up titles every so often! Anywhere in the 2-5 pin range is best, so that would be a good amount to pin still!
@@SarahMarieBlog Thank you ! should I create a pin about a blog post I just created today or wait for google to index that blog post then create a pin about it on pinterest ?
Hey Sarah! Loving the content- super useful. I can't find the bloody video of yours that I watched earlier so I'll have to comment on this one. Quick question if you don't mind- out of the 150k impressions you get on pinterest, how many outbound clicks to wherever your leading them to would you say it is? If that's not too personal to ask. I was just trying to get a feel for pinterest clickthrough rates. I know there different for everyone/niches anyway. Thanks! Subbed, you've got some good shit! 👍🏽
I've been neglecting Pinterest lately honestly, haven't really posted consistently in months because I've been focusing on other things and my clients accounts! But, in the last 30 days I've gotten roughly 420 clicks to my blog. Would deff be a lot more if I pinned, but that's still pretty good I think for neglecting it!
Do you help making a personalized pinterest schedule? Sorry to sound crude but how much would you charge for it? I have a crafts youtube channel and shop and would like you to make me a pinning schedule so as to grow my account.
That's something I can help you with! But I don't think there is enough going on with a Pinterest schedule for me to be able to do for you. It's all really a personal choice and how much time you have to spend on Pinterest. I would ask yourself these questions to get started: 1. How often am I putting out new content? How many new pins should I create for each new piece of content? (I recommend 3-5 pins the week the video/post goes out. New content takes priority) 2. How many new pins should I pin a day? How much time do I have to create? Figure out a day, or more if you need to sit down and create pins 3. What time should I pin? (With RUclips it's a bit harder to decide because you don't have exact times like on Google analytics, but honestly time doesn't matter that much anyway because pins seem to take 6+ months to take off nowadays, so just choose a time and go with it!) That's really all you need to create a schedule for yourself! :)
Hi Sarah. I have two issues. 1. When I type Best day Pinterest, it brings me outside my Google Analytics page. Why? 2. I can't find a way to see Users by the time of day. Can you explain exactly how to get this view?
You're probably using Google Analytics 4. This video was recorded when the old GA was a thing, so everything is different now! I haven't been able to find users by time of day in the new GA 4. I'm not sure it exists anymore
Thanks for the video Sarah, I have like 650 blog posts on one of my sites. I plan on creating 5 pins for each post. How should I spread out posting each pin. Should I do that pin once per month on the same day (different images of course) for 5 months or is better to do them closer together?
Hi Sarah, great tips thanks! I use Tailwind to schedule my pins. When it asks which boards I want to pin to, I usually select multiple boards then tailwind pins that same pin to different boards each on a different day. Is that a bad idea? Should I be creating a different pin for different boards for the same post?
Hey, great question! So I don't use Tailwind to pin anymore, because it's really better to manually pin on Pinterest. I also don't pin one pin to multiple boards anymore. That's not really a good idea either. Yes, you should be creating different pins for the same post and pinning that to multiple boards! I have a lot of info on the channel about this life why you shouldn't use Tailwind (ruclips.net/video/yVVZyhjZ3gk/видео.html) and my manual pinning strategy (ruclips.net/video/N2ihjAcAF9s/видео.html) if you wanted to learn more!
Thank you so much Sarah! Hey do to you post to Instagram? Tailwind does that too. As a brand new blogger ( I only have 10 posts so far) how would you suggest or work round posting to both platforms (Pinterest and Instagram)? Thanks.
@@eddiefreddie I don't typically post to Instagram because it's not easy to get traffic from. Instagram is better used for building your personal brand/brand awareness over trying to drive people to your blog. At least, in my opinion. Just because you can't add links to individual posts. But when I do post, I prefer to do it right on the platform, for both Pinterest and Instagram. That's likely going to give you the best reach & engagement. However, I also do this full-time which means I have more time to do it that way!! So if you need to use a scheduler, it's okay :)
Thank you so much for sharing your ideas. Do you recommend any tool for Pinterest marketing? I am planning to get Pinflux. I heard it helps to find quality new pins, and also sets up a pinning schedule, and creates pins to unlimited boards automatically. Kindly guide.

Does pinning mean saving it to boards or creating a pin (uploading new image, adding description etc.)?
Both
