Hi Adrian :) First of all, thank you for your high-quality content. I really appreciate the insights you share with us.
Now to my question: I'm in my mid-30s and am currently doing a BA in translation studies (FR/NL > DE). I really want to get into the translation business, but I wonder if my disabilities (ASD/ADHD) will pose too big of an issue. I can only study and work part-time, so by the time I get my MA degree, I will probably be in my early 40s. I'm afraid I won't be able to compete with other newbie freelancers who are much younger and don't have any disabilities. What are your thoughts on starting a late freelance translation career with severe impairments (Schwerbehinderung)?

Thanks for your vids Adrian. PayPal is not available in my country of origin (Cuba). My solution? I moved to the USA 😅

Hi Adrian, thank you for your informative and helpful channel! Based on the title, I thought this video was going to be more about creating a portfolio to convince clients to hire you. I see that it's more focused on Q&A for freelancers.
Would it be possible to indicate and link the questions in the description to make it easier to find relevant information? Thanks!

Hi Elise, yes this is a Q&A video that I make roughly every 2 months. Timestamps will be added to the video soon so it will be easier to navigate :)

Hey Adrian, thanks for some great tips and info. Even though I've experienced much of what you discuss because I've been a translator for 8 years, it's good to be reminded by someone who is also experienced, and I do also pick up some nice tips from you, so that's also great. Thanks for a good and worthy channel!
