@@canistheloli3503 Just because the overall premise of the franchise is wacky, doesn’t mean you should treat it like as if nothing story-wise in the ENTIRE franchise (spin-offs and RPGs included) matters. Miyamoto treats the Zelda franchise with respect by ACTUALLY acting like there’s a coherent story to the franchise, but with Mario he just comes up with bull-crap assumptions for what HE personally believes the Mario franchise is that it clearly isn’t. Literally the ONLY game (not including the Party games or the Mario Kart because they’re not even canon to begin with) in the Mario franchise to support his bull-crap claim of the Mario cast being “a troupe of actors” would be Super Mario Bros 3. Besides that game, not a single other main series game supports his claim.

@@deadeye8007 Kalos could have been much much more interesting if they had expanded on what the war was all about and told more about Zygarde in a Pokémon Z, it's said that Zygarde controls the -climate- ecosystem and keeps it balanced and bro, that story could have been as good as BW and less forgettable than it was to me. Edit: I don't think XY were unfinished like Sword and Shield, they just had so much unused potential.

Well yeah because game freak and Nintendo dont intend on a timeline except for sequel games, i.e. black to black 2, it's the reason the Zelda timeline was a bullshit debate and why the timeline Nintendo made was pretty bad.
I beat that thing in one or two hits with Decidueye, I don't know why it's hard for everyone. But to be fair, I'd definitely have a harder time with a different starter.
My favorite thing about the Pokémon lore is how Gen 6 introduced a parallel universe system, and then Gen 7 introduced a completely different parallel universe system, while still keeping the old parallel universes.

Isn't ultra space like, just an place between dimentions? So it dosen't add another paralel universe system, just expands upon the old one (unless im wrong about this)
@@funninoriginal6054 yeah basically your right you can use solgaleo or lunala to travel trought dimensions that's why you can get a second cosmog in another universe the ultra space is basically what fills the Gap (that's why you can caught legendary and other pokemons in it) and the others dimensions are basically all the copies of the game

@@autumn4639 It's the un-Marioness, that still keeps some of the Marioness, is what I love about it -- not to done frequently, but the depth of story for Mario games should be explored once in a while.

Although pokemon maybe the highest grossing series, but mario is the top biggest video game franchise in the world of all time despite the platform series being on the second.
Aside from Galaxy, all of those are Spin-offs, so they don’t count to the main series’ canon. It’s like counting the Mystery Dungeon lore for Pokémon, when it’s a completely different branch of the brand.

Claydol dex entry says that he was a clay figurine made 20000 years ago modeled after something that descended from the sky that started to live from exposure to a mysterious ray of light. The people of the sky were probably the ancient inhabitants of the ultramegalopolis, that discovered dimensional travel before us and went to earth to help our civilization. For the sake of the theory this type of energy is the same type of energy as meg-arings, z-crystals and dynamax bands. The golurks were probably made in a similar way (dex entries). So we have a group of people with powerful pokemon made of clay powered up by an infinite source of energy, which is sealed in their bodies. Let's call them people of clay. However both Claydol and Golurk are ground type so when ice age started they became useless.
During the ice age humans started to worship pokemon as Calyrex, the Tapus, Volcarona and Alolan Ninetales (I'm serious, check the pokedex). The most important deity was however the Regigigas, which made the Regis around the globe to help humans and teach them to work materials better, especially the newfound steel. Then, at the end of the ice age he spent all his energies and went to sleep at Snowpoint city.
However, the people of clay stayed alive and kept their "infinite rays" as ornaments. One day, when they were making bronze mirrors for graveyards, one of them came to life after they made a pattern on his back, becoming Bronzor. When Bronzor evolves in Bronzong the dex says that it can open portals. Believing the real gods were the humanoid "aliens", the clay people used this power to spread rumors that pokemon shouldn't be prayed but are instead dangerous animals. This explains the contradictory nature of the Alolan dex. The biggest effect was the sealing of the Regis in their "temples" around the world.

I would say not, since at the time Bowser was running on peak performance. Mario had activated all of his muscles and even used acupuncture to unlock Bowser's potential, so at that time Daisy wouldn't have stood a chance.
