Not Liz biased but yeah she did hit different on that chorus Lmao. Maybe it's bcs of her voice and the choreography 😭 also all the pre releases and title track is a banger. Especially HOLY MOLY

Liz's voice in the 2nd chorus is amazing but I think the camerawork is also much much better during her part, it actually accentuates the moves that hit the right beats and make them pop more

@@marzipan24agreed, she had the most lines in all comebacks i don't what op means, i know what they mean about the screentime thing, it's about her screentime in either way, and that she had 5 seconds, and maybe they meant that she had 6 seconds of lines in the pre release (kitsch) but that was one exception, she always has the most lines, she's also the most biased member

As a Liz/Gaeul bias I completely understand you. I think it's this almost quiet confidence Liz seems now to have which is somehow so much better than full out confidence (something that seems to attract me to idols in general), like it's subtle but so powerful

I love the Baddie your reaction of Liz part. It is totally me! In an interview of the producer (Ryan Jhun), he said Liz's voice gains "depth" in this comeback. I think this is why that part is so good!
Off The Record and Baddie is a grower, like the more you listen to it, the more you feel and like it.
I'm a Yujin bias and yess I agree with Liz chorus, my fave chorus is hers and Yujin!
Either Way is my fave as well, the message and emotions and everything. It's a bit sad tho that the girls said they relate so much to it. Even Liz, cried during their concert

As a queer Dive, Either Way really resonnated in me and I couldn't help but to interprate it in a queer perspective... maybe because we go through those hardships "more" and the lyrics also hit a very accurate spot... Even the aesthetic! Anyway I havent cried so much for a kpop MV and song in a long time :')

The Liz chorus hits SO DIFFERENT. and it’s my favorite version of the chorus.
Kaia, if you didn't like the short scene of Yujin crying. Don't watch the behind the scenes of Either Way. Yujin cried really bad towards the end of the video where she did the scene with the balloons. The staff asked if she was ok because she was crying so hard.
I'm with you, I hate seeing female idols crying, it gets me crying too.
In my opinion and understanding, I think these 3 titles are all somewhat connected.
Starting with EITHER WAY, wherein other people have different views of you whether hate or love. They just keep pretending, hiding their emotions even if they are hurt. "Either Way they're good"
Then there's Off The Record, they are starting to share their worries, share their thoughts(they have each other), and slowly coming out of their shells... to be able to express their thoughts and feelings and most importantly themselves, as who they are. Also, them tempted to try something new, something that they've never done before, something extraordinary...
Lastly, Baddie, they took the risk to completely come out of their shell and their comfort zones. They don't care what other people may think, say, or do. All they care about is what they want to do and do what they want. They're like a cat, reigning this world with so much courage, strength, and being unbothered af. (most specifically about what people will say).
In conclusion, the transition from showing ➡️ vulnerability ➡️ blossom out ➡️ BADDIE

Same here. I am not Liz bias and the chorus still hit me like a truck. There's something so special with it I also cannot put into words. I feel like from every title tracks / pre-releases I get one of the members (exactly why I love this group so much, each and every member gets to shine!), and this is the one for Liz. And now she has quickly climbed to my 2nd fav coming just ever so slightly behind Rei, these two girls are GEMS.

While I really liked both "either way" and "off the record" pretty much immediately, "baddie" had to grow on me.
I'm with you though Kaia, the second you get to the second half, the song just fckin ELEVATES.
From Liz's chorus through the harmonic "baddies", it's excellent.

yujin was my bias at first- but how liz acts, her character, emotions and vocals made me tune in to her. idk, her vibe is just so addictive. this girl thoooo
I am not Liz biased and I totally get what you mean beacuse the same thing happened to me! hahah idk, i think it has something to do with her voice being, loki, lower and the way she pronounces the words, i dont know exactly but it does hit really different and i love it!
it's the fact that a liz chorus will always eat... like from her eleven chorus and even to her cover of the after like chorus it just hits different when it's her

When I first saw the Baddie video, my mind immediately went wondering what your reaction would be. I mean, I knew you were going to lose your sh!t, but I wanted to see HOW!!

either way is SO beautiful - I've been listening to it since it came out on repeat, but just now got around to watching the mv and looking at the lyrics...the mv is absolutely stunning. The lyrics kinda floored me ngl, Wonyoung's opening lines? "some say I sound full of myself, that I'm just showing off?" Ain't NO way that wasn't on purpose, and I'm sooo here for it.
and their acting? Especially Yujin, they really sold the concept and the mv, I continue to be incredibly impressed by almost all of IVE's releases fr fr
