What ABS setting do you use?
I'm set on Weak but I'm salute for people that off the abs

I love FF cars. It's more in the tune and diff + a driving style adjustment but they are fun(straight line braking late, leave a bit of speed to wick off coasting into apex, and hammer down as soon as mostly straight). When you get used to FF it has some insane advantages. But it can also be a hinderance when you over push it. As for ABS, always on default. Having no ABS especially with feedback controller is basically a death wish.
ABS weak is where it's at for me. Watched Womble video on this sometime last year and tried weak, never gone back since. More control during modulation

No abs is tough im so used to it on that when i join a lobby that doesn't allow it im like why lol but it does take some getting use too

My wheel all of them are on dial so I turn my usually zero but if it's tricky cornering it's a powerful Car alternative to one during that and then I'll turn it back off depending where I am on the track
No abs in this game just feels plain weird and I hate it, I thinkthe fact you have wild understeer that magically disappears once you have ABS on suggests to me that something is weird with GT7
Other sims feel fine without ABS but GT7 feels like an absolute nightmare
It’s VERY easy to lock a wheel in GT7 without ABS for sure.
Lift-off oversteer guaranteed in this one. Downhill turn in with a bit of angle - ya gotta be quick to catch it, but there goes your lap time. Gently does it on the brakes in that case or make sure you straight line it. ABS on or off doesn't matter.
You sure were punishing yourself in the start of this one. ABS off is no option for me being on the controller. Not near enough control over the brake pressure (maybe just a skill issue) 😃

Try ABS weak
ABS on default all the time for me, I wouldn't be playing if they took it away from the game.

Set the ABS to weak and also the corrective steering I have a 2 sec improvement on time using a controller still trying to get under 4mins at Le Mans 30mins.
