The video shows me a more sympathetic, carefree time!!! Slim people, no smartphones and more naturalness! Reason enough to build a time machine and set it to 1970!!!
I really wish I could step back into this time and stay there, the clothes, hair styles, music, cars, vibrant high streets, people living much simpler and happier lives, how did we come to this.
David Preece when Britain really was great before it became the dumping ground of the world. Successive governments decided since Blair to destroy our way of life ,bulldoze vast numbers of streets, pubs, corner shops and cafés thus almost totally destroying the close knit communities. Add to this incessant uncontrolled immigration the mass majority no jobs to come to and giving them preferential treatment over indigenous Britons was always a disastrous recipe. Then if anyone (with total justification) says immigration has got out of control the main media and establishment label those sensible people racists. How do they sleep at night knowing they're continually destroying our once great country.
Ah, those were the days my friend. I walked along the King's Road & other London streets in my maxi coat, unbuttoned, showing a mini skirt and boots underneath! Fewer clothes, better quality. We were slim because we did not eat junk food then. 3 meals a day, no snacking between meals. We walked everywhere or caught buses and the tube.
I think back then young people had less clothes than today, but they had better quality clothing and most young then were slimmer than today, especially the ladies 😜
The children in this film are now in their 50s & 60s , the young people are in their 70s and 80s and the middle aged ones are dead now - life goes by very fast. Scooby Doo was on the TV and The Beatles had already broken up.
these had been really popular at Manhattan at 2001, and everybody looked so silly because the thing was to let their hems be dragged across so much piled-up dirty snow everywhere
I was 10 years old in 1970 and remember things back then and how I wish I could go back those times.
I still have my cream leather maxi coat from the 70s, I love it.
