I promise The Priory of the Orange Tree is amazing! It does have a bit of romance in but honestly, I found it really easy to follow and was so upset when it ended because I loved it that much 😂
I read Beartown when it first came out and it was a 5 star read and on reread it still stands the test of time and I gave it the same. I just have the other two books to read so will hopefully enjoy them too

I recently purchased the priory of the orange tree on my kindle to convince myself it’s not that thick 😅
I might have to hide the physical book and do that 🫠
