I love the good that some of the NHL does and I love the game but I've dated a couple semi pro players... this doesn't surprise me. Their real behavior can be really despicable, not everyone, but it's eye opening
People typically have a good reason for being "racist". If you could record the times it occurred with all the context involved, i guarantee you it was deserved and warranted
Well, I hope Kyle Beach got more money from the blackhawks than the two million the NHL appeared to make off Beach's personal suffering. This is just one of the reasons I no longer follow hockey. I'd rather reflect on the game as it was when we had the privilege of watching Wayne and Mario making plays that seemed magical.
As a hockey fan and family member of an active junior hockey player, I will put in my responses to this video: (1) Drug testing should occur during the regular season, too; (2) Fighting in the NHL will never go away; (3) Sexual assault in hockey seems to be rampant, even in junior, and it is almost at the unfortunate point where it doesn't shock anyone anymore; (4) Hazing has, thankfully, been relatively controlled; (5) This is why teams need to be more vigilant with their players' presences on social media; (6) Players and fans are both guilty of this shit, and it's disgusting; (7) Maybe put a player in charge of the Players' Union next time; (8) This is why rule changes should not happen during the season; (9) I worry about my soon-to-be 18-year-old nephew for this very reason, as he had three hits to the head and two concussions in only his first season of major junior hockey; (10) There are not enough large cities in Canada to make relocation or expansion work so get over it; (11) I would not consider either of those things to be "shady," and Logan should be thankful that he never took a faceoff against Rod Brind'Amour; (12) Billy Coutu sounds like he was a wee bit psycho; (13) I was actually shocked when the Edmonton Oilers signed Evander Kane considering everything; (14) I would love to see more BIPOC players in the NHL and I am glad that there have been more as years go by.
I remember the first time I really sat down and watched a hockey game. It was so fast, so skilled, kept my attention AND they punched each other in the face?! Lifelong fan now Go bruins!

I watch Hockey on TV, this video needs to force the NHL to change their toxic work culture
This video is making me think that the NHL doesn't really care about the players physical, mental or psychological issues.
A surprisingly solid video.

Akim Aliu was a joke. The guy was hated throughout the NHL. He was a locker room problem. I don't believe a word he says.

Not a fan of how narrator said Ottawa…overly pronouncing the Ts which we pronounce more as Ds “Oddawa” is more the appropriate pronunciation
Ehat truly. S the rationale behind that strange rule

Isn’t this most pro sports tho
Crazy
A good public speaking coach could help you with your voice fry.
You described a ‘Gordie Howe Hat Trick”. That is not a hat trick (3 goals in a game) a natural hat trick or a double hat trick.
Who actually watches NHL for the game...and not the fights?
People with iq and who are good at the sport and aren’t simple minded enough just for the fighting and blood. Idiot, Watch ufc for that.
fans like myself
