When this album was released, I made lots of my High School friends hooked to The Cure become huge fans, that They never heard of The Cure band before ,now they become crazy Cure fans 😮
The Cure's No. 2 smash ballad, "Love Song" is one of my favorite songs of the Big '80s, for Robert Smith's voice and the instrumentation. This 1989 single cut from the album, "Disintegregation," has stood the test of time and is as fresh today as it was nearly a quarter-century ago... Smith's ode to his future wife on the rigors and loneliness of being on the road... I've written about this song before and certainly will again...
Yes, thank you, I write for a living: 30 year-career in journalism, first 25 as a metro newspaper reporter and last five online; authoring three books...
A woman I'm truly in love with sent me this and it sets my soul on fire. It should be illegal to not feel this way on this realm. This is what life is supposed to be 😭😢
Some kid at my school kept on talking about Disintegration and The Cure so I went to look at the songs thinking it would be trash and I would prove him wrong, but know this is one of the best songs I have ever heard he was right
This is one of the best love songs of all time, definitely top 10 from my generation. Robert Smith and his band mates are legends, their music will always remain relevant.
Always loved The Cure. Love his songs, his styles, and read somewhere recently that this singer is also a very generous kind hearted individual. I should add that I had a close friend of mine back in late 2019 who passed away with whom her and I could relate and understand each other about many of things having very similar life experiences. I dedicate this song to this close friend of mine. Her last words just before she passed was "I love you."
I bought this tape when it came out. It totally paved the way for memories in 8th grade. To this day when I hear this song I am transported back to those days. 😢
If 1976 was your birth year, that was mine too. I bought this when it came out also. But remember caterpillar's video first. But this is my favorite album by the cure. Funny thing is when this album came out, Imostly listened to metal, punk and hardcore. Next to deadcandance, I loved going to sleep to this album.

No how far away I will always love you ,my love and my heart. God Bless you Shell. I hope there are others out there that found the love I found.
When I hear this it's 1989 all over again and I am a freshman at OU again. What memories, mostly good. This is an amazing song.

This song came out in the middle of 1989 so it's almost a 90s song.

LoveSong Is The Total Embodiment Of The 80s Love Song. It's My Favorite From The Cure.❤️🔥✌️😌
Robert Smith has such an amazing voice
That's one love sick puppy. Thank god he's got the cure. Greatest love song of the 80's.
When this album was released, I made lots of my High School friends hooked to The Cure become huge fans, that
They never heard of The Cure band before ,now they become crazy Cure fans 😮
The Cure's No. 2 smash ballad, "Love Song" is one of my favorite songs of the Big '80s, for Robert Smith's voice and the instrumentation. This 1989 single cut from the album, "Disintegregation," has stood the test of time and is as fresh today as it was nearly a quarter-century ago... Smith's ode to his future wife on the rigors and loneliness of being on the road... I've written about this song before and certainly will again...
Thanks MSGypsy791...
Thanks RebelThoughts82...
Thanks for the thumbs up, Zach Zachman...
Keep writing. I do it for a living, I would be surprised if you didn't.
Yes, thank you, I write for a living: 30 year-career in journalism, first 25 as
a metro newspaper reporter and last five online; authoring three books...
After listening to The Smiths for a solid month, it looks like I am ready for The Cure now.
I'm doing the same only if I can repeating this song lol
The Smiths, Joy Divison, The Cure are the bands I listen to the most
You are the exact reason I read the comments, thank you brother! I’m using my wife’s phone
@@melody.thecreator those are my three fav bands including deftones have you found any other bands that appeal to that taste ?

80's fans, there's an *awesome* 80's inspired band today called *Fire* *Tiger*
There's always been one person that makes me feel that way. .. JD❤
A woman I'm truly in love with sent me this and it sets my soul on fire. It should be illegal to not feel this way on this realm. This is what life is supposed to be 😭😢
I love this. You're lucky to have each other!
my dad sent this to me a while ago, i always listen to it when i miss him
Some kid at my school kept on talking about Disintegration and The Cure so I went to look at the songs thinking it would be trash and I would prove him wrong, but know this is one of the best songs I have ever heard he was right

Pure genius of a song.
This is one of the best love songs of all time, definitely top 10 from my generation. Robert Smith and his band mates are legends, their music will always remain relevant.
Embracing and controlling are different sides of a coin. Establishing that balance in marriage often is beyond some.
I remember watching this on MTV as kid. There was something so awesome about it . That feeling hasn't changed.
Have always and will always loved the Cure since the first time I heard them ❤
I can’t help but cry every time I listen to this. It’s so pure and effortlessly beautiful.
You nailed it!! It's just perfect!!!
Me too, every time.
did not lose any magic 🌺
Always loved The Cure. Love his songs, his styles, and read somewhere recently that this singer is also a very generous kind hearted individual. I should add that I had a close friend of mine back in late 2019 who passed away with whom her and I could relate and understand each other about many of things having very similar life experiences. I dedicate this song to this close friend of mine. Her last words just before she passed was "I love you."
The lyrics are just perfection.... Love this song
I bought this tape when it came out. It totally paved the way for memories in 8th grade. To this day when I hear this song I am transported back to those days. 😢
Sheels1976 were you a teenager in the 80's ?? You look 20/21!!
Is that you on the picture ? If so, you're beautiful.
lol you don't look too happy about this :P
Sheels1976 are you some sort of vampire goddess?! If so. I'd love to be father to our children
My 2 younger daughters, I would sing them this song to get them to sleep, or stop crying... when they were babies and as adults..
I love The Cure. One of their best songs, and Friday I'm in love.
