Brad, funny you brought up the water pik topic because in another episode when Jake said he doesn’t floss and hates flossing, I thought about suggesting it. Good gum health ties in with lowering cardiovascular disease. My dental hygienist recommended a hand held cordless water flosser and I love it! My husband just got one too. Just don’t be surprised if your kids love squirting each other once they clue into how it works! 😀

I played in the pit orchestra for Fiddler on the Roof in high school. Super fun, but in the weeks leading up to our performances we had rehearsal from 5-9 every weeknight. I can only imagine the work they had to put in to get a bunch of young kids to do Matilda for 2.5 hours😅
You joke about Midwest not having paved streets but I visited Iowa for the first time and where my friend lives their town literally doesn’t have paved streets 😂

Crazy to hear about the rental car deposit! I thought ours in El Salvador of $1200 was a lot. I was so worried when we had trouble returning the car that they would find an excuse to keep that deposit. Luckily they didn't🙏

Talking about driving in a new area: I can relate!
Went from northern Cali to Texas. In Cali we had “backroads” (which are just roads on the side of the freeway to bypass some traffic. In Texas? They have those kind of roads too! But they call them “access roads” and “U Turn roads.” Took a long time for me to get used to those. And and I will say Texas drivers drive faster lol.
