I very much like Suede but I have to say Brett vocals lack stability, strenght and accuracy ....this can be linked to tireness (probably), bad Health habits...adding more reverb on his voice could have helped him avoid struggling ...

His wife is a naturopath. If he was in poor health, he sure as hell couldn't move like that and have that level of energy. Few vocalists maintain the same ability they had in their 20s when they're well into middle age. He's almost 53 ffs.
@@sachertorte1000 I totally agree. Not only that, some of the struggle adds to the meaning. The way CASH sings "the first time ever I saw your face..." Just as few early twenties singers could have turned parental love into to a generalised piece of empowerment, our lives are gold because of it... You can't keep all the Gods happy but Dionysus has a good night every night Suede goes live - say at home with your records if you want hi fi render...
