Love the creativity of the boss patterns, but they look like a real pain to deal with. Also wasn't expecting the design of the pilots to look that cartoony based on the designs of the bosses, that was a surprise.
"(No Damage)"? There's no damage system here son, one hit and that's it, you're done for. That should either be "(No Miss)" or "(No Deaths)" Either way, awesome gameplay there! =3
Thank you very much for bringing this game to my attention, Shadowserg. Not only are most of these bosses pretty neat, but the final boss, Xiga, is really cool. I wasn't expecting such a dynamic final boss fight in a space shooter game, and Xiga's towering design and theme music make the fight even more epic. In fact, I decided to make a lego moc of Xiga, and it's going well so far 🙂. Also, I could be wrong, but when I checked other videos of the fight against Xiga, the fight went faster than in here. I believe that the reason for that is that you want to give the bosses enough screen time for each to show everything that they can do, so you don't use weapons that can damage them faster. I thank you for that, because without that, I wouldn't have known so soon that Xiga has more abilities than what is shown in some of the other videos on RUclips that show this boss. Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to more games for you to share here with us all! 😁
Failing at this game over and over really make me felt like a useless piece of garbage, until i learned this game is Globally one of the hardest ever made...

@@glassdrago3144 I always thought that Ikaruga could make a great action movie. Most SHMUP ships and characters have tiny hitboxes around their cockpit/heart instead of the entire sprite/model. It's especially vital in the more difficult ones like Touhou, Mushihime-Sama and Radiant Silvergun, as the tight and fast bullet patterns would make them unplayable if they had bigger hitboxes.
I love this game so much. I learned the scoring routes too. A little odd to see someone playing on hard and not playing for score but no less entertaining. Most of the routes I know of for don't play on hard because the patterns kind of screw with scoring. Some of the enemies get revenge bullets, which really sucks.
@@xendakakorva3267 Revenge bullet is a SHMUP term where when you destroy a small ship it shoots a bullet or group of bullets at you. This can get out of hand when there's a lot of enemies on the screen.

That's just your typical Japanese Engrish, but it's not too hard to interpret. Attitude here can be interpreted as it's personality, as in how it acts, and gain can mean advantage. So it's basically a vague way of saying: These are the 3 main points on how the boss behaves, take note of them to gain the upper hand Same goes for the tips, they are kinda vague but they give you a rough idea of their meanings.
