Note that Sennheiser uses the ingenious braille markings above the left ear cup. Works like a charm for whenever you pick up the headphones in the dark or don’t feel like squinting.

I have the 660s and 599. I wouldn't say that you couldn't use the 560s unless it was for the same purpose. I don't take the 660s outside and I use it for mixing and general music listening. I do however use the 599 when I'm out and about. I could imagine that the 560 could be used in the same way. But considering that the 560s has a flatter frequency response than the 599, it could be used primarily for studio use or gaming where the 660s could be used purely for listening to music.
@@o.f.ftrack3444 I already bought one from sennheisers website. It's not a big gamble considering its price. And I do imagine that the scenarios you just outlined are very very feasible for both the 660s and 560s. By the way it still didn't ship as of this day.
@@linkinparkdrift the hd660s is more detailed and more capable as a headphone. I just tested the hd560s versus dt990 32 Ohm. Which I read is better than the 990pro btw. The hd560s is extremely detailed, has great frequency response, is very easy to drive from a phone. The dt990 has a noticeable V- shaped profile that even I noticed on EDM (trance, Armin van Buren). On classic Rock, jazz etc I actually think they're quite similar, but I just love the comfort of the Beyerdynamics. Sennheiser just clamped my ears too much. This isn't a problem on listening sessions, but it becomes a real problem when you mainly want to use it for long gaming sessions, as I did. So that's why I'm going with the hd990.
Great video. a question, in your opinion which is better the HIFIMAN he400se or the sennheiser hd 560s? I am not sure which one to choose as I have seen that both are excellent and have a similar price. but I would like your personal opinion on which is better.
Your box states the frequency response as 12 Hz - 38 KHz, whereas Sennheiser states 6 Hz - 38 KHz in their website. What is going on? Different models or just a mistake?
I'm also reading reviewers saying this is a much better one than the hd600 series. As far as I'm concerned, in this price range I don't know a headphone with better sound.
@@StCreed You're right - best bang for the buck for sure. I've had the 560s for about 18 months now, I'm really glad I got them. I've used to them mainly for mixing audio. They are comfy to wear for long periods, the sound stage is bigger than the Hd600 and 6XX (which my bro has) so they are great for hearing instrument separation and also very revealing, definitely on the analytical side. For just general music listening I'd say the HD 6xx are a bit more chilled to listen to but the 560s are more honest.
I've had them for 6 months. The boxiest sound I've ever encountered. I could go into details with professional but it's not worth it. Just incredibly inferior sound.
With the hd560s, If I'm playing CS:GO, explosions on the other side of the level sound approx. 70 cm away. The only headphone I tested that was better on that was the fidelio 2xhr with 100cm. I don't have neither of them but from reading 40+ hours the past week about headphones x2hr and 560s have a totally different sound signature. HD560s is a more audiophile oriented headphone with a flater frequency response whereas the x2hr had their unique sound signature, little bit emphasized on the bass and sold as a more consumer friendly product. I hope this helps!
Go to a hifi shop, plug in decent headphones to some decent audio sources, and learn with your own ears how much more important the source is than the headphones, then stop calling people liars. 🙄

Roe Perk true but i don’t think anyone picks up their headphones by the cable
Did they make a revision? Mine came with a 1.8m cable 3.5mm and a screw-type 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter.
vs 58X: more or less clear? More or less neutral? I know 58X is low impedance, but that's it.

Sennheiser sends you headphones and you use them to watch a movie… on an iPad…
So even though it's 120 ohm, it does not require an amp?
That's mostly true, because if you want to get all the audio out from these headphones, you should use an amp.
