Thanks Tom , this is wonderful. Saw Doc many times back in the day with numerous shows at the Birchmere. One night after the show I was hanging out with a few employees and Doc was sitting at a table directly across from me. Pete Kennedy handed Doc his new Martin to check out and he proceeded to pick six tunes and says “ Yup , that’s a Martin “ My mind is still blown! Incredible memory to say the least.
Oh yeah, the Birch. Used to live in DC so I remember the Birch. Many a great show there. Be sure to check out my channel if you like the genre. I have a few shows from the Birchmere (like Doc and Mike Auldridge) that are stellar quality.
