  • The National Air and Space Museum is full of firsts and world record breakers. Some of the highlights include the Wright Flyer, the Bell X-1 Glamorous Glennis, the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird and the Apollo 11 Command Module. And in case you didn’t know the National Air and Space Museum holds its own Guinness World Record as the world's largest aerospace museum!

    Sadly I’ve not been since mid 1990s, X-15 was hanging in the entrance hall. Didn’t make it to Udvar-Hazy either - must go back next time I’m across the pond. Having grown up not far from Mildenhall I love anything SR-71
