Wow Brandon - Part 1 was excellent, but Part 2 was a great surprise! Back in high school (mid-1980's) I was all into R&B, and collected 12"s like crazy that I still have today. You are right in that it was all about the groove, and not over singing just to show off a four octave range. There is a lot of overlap here, but rather than call it out, it has jazzed me to make a video of the 12"s I have in this genre. What you showed really took me back. Thanks again for participating, and will add to the thread playlist on my channel. Groovy! 😎
