I just got my 1st 2 diffrent shinys!!! I got jynx (thru a mystery cherish ball) and a geodude thru normal encounter!!! I appreciate your content man and thank you for the info uve given. Much appreciated mate and good stiff on Ur channel. But do have to ask is a shiny jynx good? Like is it sought after or whatsup? And COD??? Ima try to hit ya up on that one too man. If I mathed correctly it would be 1/3,434,220.16 all I did was took the full odds rate of Scarlet & Violet and divided that number by 469,000. Then took 30,000 and multiplied that by the number I got. So you were super close.
I collect cards too! I started collecting scarlet and violet 151 a few months ago as my first set and pulled the Charizard. Now I am hooked! I'd like to start collecting graded cards too at some point. Awesome green mewtwo!! I love the original 151
i've been playing for ~1 year (all regions, full dex), but have been pretty casual and never went shiny hunting (only found a shiny hoppip while farming cyndaquils). Then 2 months ago i decided i wanted shiny slowpoke (my favourite pokemon). I went into slowpoke cave with a bunch of leppas, and in less than 400 leppas i found a shiny 😮 After this i was satisfied with shunting, so i went looking for the roaming kanto legend while paydaying. I was using lure for the munchlax encounter to get more leftovers (it also increased payday gain because of higher level). Then on the first day of paydaying, one of the munchlax turned up shiny 😵 I am still a bit shocked 😅
Somebody in my team was lure hunting for quilava in johto and got it with 0 phases after like 12k encounters. Also there are 2 shiny suicune in my team, team OpTc, I can't compete lol
