Some songs where he does the deep growl almost exlusively: Zan (2010 version), Decayed Crow, Different Sense, Hageshisa... Some songs where he hits incredible high notes: Rinkaku, Vinushka, Dozing Green, Values Of Madness, Rotting Root, Glass Skin Some songs where he just goes batshit with his vocals: Red Soil, Machiavellianism, Decayed Crow Live Symphonic Version, Chain Repulsion
If you want to hear some fking insane scream / growl song you definitely want to check out decayed crow live symphonic version, it's just bat shit insane.
The original song of this is 20years old soon. It is very progressive track. Midpart with the embryos is added later. I only think of one song with only deep growls, remake of tsumi to batsu. I find that song difficult 😅 Very heavy tracks are also Decayed Crow, The Inferno and kiri to mayu remake. Please make poll and album reaction :) Thank you ☺️ OH I forgot, the piano/organ is backtrack live. Takumi makes most of it in the studio. You can see him in sukekiyo. Please react to sukekiyo :)
This is my favorite song of all time, and I always enjoy watching people's reactions to it, so thanks! I hope you guys do more Dir en grey reactions, all of their songs are worth reacting to and each one is unique! For something more heavy and shorter please react to "Juuyoku" an amazing but kinda underrated to song of them. Keep it up!
Bloody hell, I can't believe I missed this. (I took a break from RUclips due to work). Thank you so much for this reaction! Macabre (this and the original version) is probably the most progressive track they ever did and they wrote this in their mid-twenties. It's definitely one of my favourite songs of all time. It builds up so much tension which it never truely releases...I can't explain it, it does something with my body and mind which few songs accomplish. But hearing you're missing the heavier parts, I think you would really, really enjoy Dum Spiro Spero ;) If you want to hear something a bit more vocally crazy and short you should listen to songs like "Uroko", "Chain Repulsion" or "Revelation of Mankind" (all live).
Macabre is great, but not my favorite because of the lack of harder parts. You should check out Vinushka or Revelation of mankind for the deep growling parts and beautiful chorusses. 1 of my favorites is The Blossoming Beelzebub, but I prefer the album version over the live version, is a difficult song to sing live . The lyrics are so interesting. Arche is my favorite album (Behind a vacant image is fantastic). Keep on coming with Dir en grey, I am much enjoying your reactions.
Considering you want a bit heavier stuff, I would suggest that you try Hageshia to ... (long name) from tour 16-17, that one is cool. They have also stated that they will do a tour in america in december, but I think the tickets sell out fast so check that out if you are interested.
it's a bit disappointing when you search this song live there are only videos referring to the "Tabula Rasa Tour" show, because the version of "Dum Spiro Spero at Budokan" is far better. by the way that show is outstanding.
If you want to just react to one of their hard song then just react to "Decayed Crow" live. ruclips.net/video/48yDnisl2aw/видео.html Their song "Macabre" is a very skilled song in terms of vocal and instruments focusing on "expressing" their world.

Chain repulsion is such an awesome song. Just a simple fast song where Kyo's different voices are extraordinary.
You forgot Ware, yame tote... for those incredible high notes.
You forgot Diabolos

By your reaction I think that you guys will like Different Sense. Lots of vocal shifts. Live, as always.

If you wanna hear their heavier stuff, try this: "Different Sense" ruclips.net/video/qddqoclY7Mw/видео.html
People request, juuyoku, the blossoming beelzebub, different sense: they all on Dum Spiro Spero 😉.
Would love to see you react to some Type O Negative! Maybe Anesthesia live wacken 2007 or Christian Woman live!
