- TODAY WE SMASH THE WORLD'S LARGEST LEGO SET! THE ROMAN COLOSSEUM WITH 9036 PIECES! WOW does it ever BLOW UP! That was incredibly fun! Although this set took us an extremely long time to build, after some fan appreciation we decided to SMASH it! I plan to build a custom castle with the pieces and use the funds to buy another set. So we can take a negative and turn it into an amazing positive!

A few seconds later you can see that bottom drawer is cracked open just a tiny bit where as all the other drawers are closed. Amazing sight!

There are channels in the community that revel in destroying LEGO. I thought this was a channel with a supportive and encouraging following centered around building and creating LEGO. In the Livestream last night, most encouraged and were thrilled by the spectacle. While I acknowledge an individual’s right to dispose of their LEGO in ways they want, I do not encourage my friends to smash their LEGO.
When an accident happens, or tragedy befalls us, we take what is left, rebuild, and we try to move on. That is turning a negative into a positive. When the negative action was entirely at one’s discretion and avoidable, the ends (enhancements to the beach or building a MOC castle) do not justify the means.
You're wrong because it is NOT damaged and can be rebuilt..... and will be.

Oh man, seeing that the first time was painful. I've taken apart my Empire State Building set just because I had so much fun putting it together that I wanted to do it again, but using a separator for most of it. I couldn't imagine just dropping it like that.
Bricksie bought the pieces from lego and the option to build a specfoc thing. Therefore the pieces belong to bricksie and he can do what he wants.

The back and forth slow mo is great.
I received this set for Christmas from my husband and it took me about 35 hours or so over 8 days to build. It was a fun build because of the challenge but I would NEVER choose to do it again. That’s just crazy!

I don't define this as fun. There are many young folks who watch your channels and wish they could have a Roman Colosseum. You are setting a bad example. Come on @Bricksie, you are better than this. And don't count your chickens before they hatch. Whoever so easily SuperChatted you that money can just as easily retract it. You might have just been had.
I only think bricksie did this because he knew he could trust the person who donated the money. Also, this is lego, it is build to withstand a lot. He can litterally rebuild it. I don't see how he is in ANY way setting a bad example. To me, this is great fun, and I can easily understand why he did it. He gets another "free" colosseum.
It's Lego it can be rebuilt! If anything he now gets to use the pieces more than once. So really getting more out of the money he spent on it.

My largest set currently built is the Down town Diner with assembly square sealed and even if I got paid to smash them I would not do it.

There's a small castle from the 1990's that he has on a lower shelf that he never seems to want to acknowledge or talk about. I think it's Black Knight's Keep or something like that.

The baseplate wasn't destroyed because in their review of the set, the base was "indestructible".

What do people mean when they say this is "a bad way to treat lego" or talk about it being bad and/or childish when something like this is done. Honestly I need someone to explain it to me because I cannot comprehend why there is any controversy behind this.
@@chillbill9333 No precedence was set. He mentioned he would smash it if someone paid for it. And he followed through when someone took him up on the offer. As long as he never says that again, he will never feel obligated to smash another set.
I think a lot of it has to do with jealousy. Seriously cause they can’t afford the set seeing it smashed kills them. I loved it so much fun
