It’s the same concept as eating ceviche if you ever had that. It’s very popular. It’s raw fish literally cooked by the citrus of limes marinating it with other veggies in it. It’s raw but like half-raw after the marinating process. Nothing will happen as long as you wait till it’s marinated enough.
I don’t know how to describe the taste but the batter of the spices makes it easier to eat the raw crab and you don’t feel weird or get the ick since I dislike seafood, I still love raw marinated crab

Kimchi crab? What on earth. Please don't tell me there is really kimchi in there. That don't look like maewoon gaejang really either. It is supposed to be dark dark red in color and paste is thicker. You need to freeze it after it marinades and thaw it in the refrigerator to kill the bacteria too before eating it. As a half korean and my mom makes gaejangs somehow your crab dish I can say don't look nothing like korean gaejang.

no because it is frozen. Seafood is frozen to a temp that kills harmful bacteria. That’s why u can eat raw salmon, tuna, etc without getting sick

It’s so good it’s like soft sushi like flesh texture but a bit softer. Firmer than jelly but softer than tofu. And the spicy sauce balances
The crab itself doesn’t taste like anything. It’s all about the sauce. The crabmeat is very mushy/soft texture as well.
