Cut the fat off the gammon and stick it under the grill for crackling 😋and cook the gammon in a frying pan.. unless you buy a joint of gammon then you can cook it in a saucepan of salted boiling water for about half an hour then turn the temperature on to a low setting heat for it to simmer for at least for at least 3 or 4 hours for best results then it will melt in your mouth 😋 👍

Could have chucked that gammon tween 2 slices crusty bread, added mustard and down me gullet. And would have chopped the fat off, chopped it up. Fried it up with fry light. You can “fry” any fatty food to start in water to render fat slowly on lower heat and also keeps sausage casing from bursting. God i wish i could get my hands on them. ❤️👍🏼 get the pineapple out 👍🏼

@@AllanNeaves-qn3zr Sorry mate been eating ham with pineapple for years. I have always had it given to me that way even as a small child. My mum would serve it to us that way and I’m 66 now and love sweet savory combo. Cheese and pineapple on cocktail sticks are fab.❤️👍🏼Gammon and fried eggs are fab too❤️with pineapple😂

@@AllanNeaves-qn3zr omg too posh for our foil potato hedge hogs but tiny pickled silverskin onions and cheese on cocktails sticks were fancy too. Hardly ever see Vol-au-vents on a Hors d’oeuvres table or running buffet. 🤷♀️

Family teas, see it now, we used it half a white cabbage for the cheese sticks. And for the Sunday lunch next day. Take care

YOu can boil it or fry it, you cannot fry gammon in water that is an oxymoron.. I always put my gammon under the grill gets the fats nice and crispy and the meat tender if timed right.
This may be true..but the real question is can you boil a stir fry ?....
