I work in tech too as a system engineer. If you work in front of your PC all day and dress up for work instead of being dressed casually you're considered a pretentious clown. To get recognition amongst your peers, you have to not give a shit and let your work do the talking. Customer meetings are a different story though.
Exactly. There are the show ponies and the work horses. The true gurus that people rely on and have the most clout don’t care how they dress unless it is in front of the customer or VIPs. Actions speak louder than words / how you’re dressed.

i also came to the comments here to make this argument - also working in tech myself. If your a lawayer his argument is fair, but its about work culture and not everyone is a lawyer. If you dont work in marketing / sales or an exec in my company and you show up in a suit you are a dickhead and probably have no friends.
I worked in tech before and i made sure to be professional in my dress code instead of having casual Fridays everyday, and it got me the the attention of the big bosses and lead on to me holding multiple presentations for them. So do u want to stand out or just blend into the background? Your choice.
Never watched an Awkward video outside of unranked to GM. He’s gotta be concise and to the point when he’s teaching but when he’s not in coaching mode he seems like a super cool dude. I agree with his moralistic values on presenting yourself well. You never know what kind of opportunity you might run into, don’t want to run into Mark Cuban wearing a shirt that says “TooAwkward” haha.
I work at a pretty prestigious university and my coworkers have anime figures all over their desk and wear clothing like sporting their favorite thing (anime, Star Wars, etc) so for real doesn’t matter. Might be field specific like maybe if you are very customer facing like hospitality. This is akin to people saying tattoos/piercings are unprofessional but that has been changing drqstcially. It’s just a culture thing. I know plenty of clowns who are awful at their job in suits and real masters in their craft in blue jeans and graphic tees. My real world working experiences tell me appearances don’t count for much in terms of professionalism and quality of work.

The biggest weakness of Tracer is truly how easy it is to be greedy haha. The urge to keep the tempo high, to chain finishing blows, to roll and get that one extra tick of value - when in reality stopping halfway through would already be enough value to secure the fight 90% of the time.

@@ZathrenIf only they just would of brought healing down a little to bring it in line. Blizzards way of fixing an issue of one role needing buffs is to buff them while nerfing everything else making it hell for the other two roles.
This season, I feel like no matter how well I play, my value is negligible with Genji. If my team isn't playing well, I can kill the whole enemy team multiple times and still lose. This has always been this way, but for some reason, this season feels even worse. I'm a GM Genji one-trick who plays on Xbox, BTW.

I really like Awkard and his videos. I have been playing Ow2 for like 6 weeks now. And I placed in Silver in the new meta. Super happy with that and will keep pushing forward. I no longer play the Open Qs in Comp. I play the Role Q. Which is way different than open. But more fun and challenging.

i think some heroes actually block their own headshot hitbox now with the projectile changes, like bap and i think doom his chest protrudes enough that you now have to aim higher to headshot him, maybe that's why you're not getting as many finishing blows as soldier as you were before?

Although im a junkrat main and we have it tough this season, dps as a whole needs a nerf, especially their new passive, basically a new variant of discord but for heals. As a whole, the devs have been smoking something with alot of the changes they are making.
What is better: incompetent loser dressed as a responsible successful person or a specialist in a Pokémon shirt? It's non of my business what people wear as long as they do their job properly and it's definitely not anybody's business what do i wear. Yes, sometimes you have to make first impression but then you'll have to prove your worth and if you can't nobody will say "at least i liked his outfit". It is ridiculous to judge people's appearance when in fact that is the easiest and cheapest part of their self. Tell you even more it is respectable when a man decides not to bend under social pressure and stand for own ideals and principles. And if you disagree that means anybody can earn your trust for a couple hundred dollars. Is that how you evaluate it?

You can only compensate bad DPS with Zenyatta. Any other strategy seems doomed to fail as a healer. Also when I play DPS I feel like the match is more dependant on me than ever.

Ppl say we need more healing. They apparently don't know how his works. You can't be low on HP take a healing or and continue to take damage. You need to hide for a few seconds

People dont understand that if they dress well, take a shower everyday, have a nice haircut, go to the gym, etc, their life will be sooo much better. First of all, women attention will grow your self confedence , people will respect you and will be more willing to talk to you. It makes you feel better about yourself and your body. Everybody can be attractive its just a question of putting the effort into it. Even if you feel like its not the real you that dress like that, your quality of life will be so much better. I was a nerd all my life and i decided one day to change my hair style, go to the gym and change the way i dress. I lost my virginity 3 months after and now my confidence is really high, i can get high value women that i never tought I coud get 2 years ago. You just need to stop being lazy and put the effort in. Anyone can do it.
i had a game where the tank had 50 elims i was the dps with 40 plus and the other dps had 40 plus as well even the supports had good numbers but we still lost the game the enemy team didnt have anyone with 40 kills most of em had around 20 to 30 but we still lost do you think there is a way i could have won here i was soldier 76 hes exceptionally squishy so i cant stand on point but i feel like my tank wasnt standing on point either what do you think i was doing wrong here should i just stand on point as soldier?

Moira is not a bad character. The average pro player just don't know how to do the 4 step plan on her. And in "professional" OW you lack some utility. But in ranked she can be pretty devastating.

no, your getting hard marked. Your tank is a dva, its winstons job to avoid them at all costs. hard marking you is pretty much his job. The winston made the argument in mach chat that you had bap kiri he could not dive them and kill them. WIth you, and even your other dps, he could. The scoreboard reflected this, their dps got more value than either of you, because you were both hard marked by winton. in the first round before he swapped sigma because ultimattely he couldnt kill your supports or tank you was generally outplayed consistently.
What amazes me through that game is the level of cope demonstrated confidently enough that an idiot will believe it. Dashing in with blade to get slept and insta killed after 2 secs and being like "SEE GUYS DISTRACTION".... you spent over 2 mins building your first blade which is like 60% of all of genjis value to trade it for a sleep dart and provide a 2 second distraction, yeah... well done i guess
Coming from a support main, this game will always be better and more fun in the long run when support isn't the freest, most broken role in the game
