Some of the things I really like about Chloe and Ro is the way they raise their kids. They seem to have so much love and patience. I am also a big fan of them taking the kids to the park almost daily. I think nowadays a lot of kids don´t play enough outside anymore, but I have been following this family for many years and they have always made this a priority. 😃

Not Al kids have the option to go outside. Some neighborhoods are not safe for kids to go outside. Yes kids need the outdoors but some places are better for that then others. I find it hard to believe they never get upset with their kids or the kids don’t act up but they won’t show that on camera. Nor should they

They go to the park, library and museum or stay at home and read books and the younger ones play with toys. There’s enough of them to play together. They go to trampoline park for birthdays. You don’t see them with any other kids.

The grocery bills get really large with teenagers. We had only 4 boys but when they were teens we made our grocery store Wegmans top 100 customers for 10 years straight. It was a mixed blessing to go each year to shake the grocery store managers hand and receive a basket of gifts.

A book from my youth that stood out for me was "Call it Courage" by American author Sperry Armstrong. I think it was written in the 40s but classic.

We are listening to the Philosopher's Stone audiobook for the first time, and then my 8 year old is reading along. So fun. We also love Charlie and the Chocolate factory and enjoyed reading Pippi Longstocking, Paddington Bear, The Borrowers, and Charlotte's Web. In the Fall I want to read aloud The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.
