- Folks... This absolute gem of a record is one of my most prized possessions. It was pretty much THE song that got me into collecting records as well as Doowop music! It took me over three years to track down an original copy and it has to be one of my favorite records and ballads of all time! Rarest of the rareeeee!!!
This is indeed a real gem. I think even I didn't have this one. But I sure wish I did. I love it! Thanks for sharing.

The Chaps were a group from the Kiski Valley , Apollo, Vandergrift & Leechburg PA. They consisted of Sonny DiNunzio as lead vocalist, bassist Ronnie George, drummer Alan Bills. They morphed into the Fenways then the Racket Squad. I grew up in Vandergrift and they were local stars.
I absolutely love them. Especially on this record. One of the greatest Doowop’s of all time!
@@greenchevy5764 I totally agree. I can't remember which iteration it was but they were picked for house band on Shindig but they were underage and no parents would go with them.
@@greenchevy5764 Ron George's sister Pam was a year behind me in school. They were real redheads.
@@1Drafter1 That’s so awesome lol. I would love to grow up in another time. Especially this one! 😊
@@greenchevy5764 YES ! I keep saying, I want my same wife, children & Grandchildren but have everything like it was in 1960. Sorry green Chevy no computers, no cell phones cars with old technology, start the engine, smell the gas. The cars would look different every year. Radio in the house or transistor radio. 3 TV channels but the programs were good. oh heaven.
Wowww, Nice!!!
