    lmao @ 2:06 the little boy looked so lost. I liked the "Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto" finisher by him, haha!
    The groom and some of the other men did a stellar job though! But again, the kid stole the show in the end! >:D

    I love this Haka. Watching the little kid in the middle of the pack is priceless. I'm sure he's not scared, he must be just learning the Hake.

    I never tire of watching Haka videos. Please tell me. Do you have to rehearse or are there a set of standard moves that go with each Haka that everyone learns from childhood?

    What is the tradition behind it? What does it mean?

    • @dat619soulja
      @dat619soulja 8 лет назад +6

      if it's a wedding haka, it's a sign of good will towards the bride and groom for their years ahead of them. very traditional in Polynesian weddings.

      Flaxenpath it's a Maori New Zealand tradition show of love and respect.
      Also before a battle it was used to strengthen the Warriors and to frighten the enemy. Now mostly a "Haka" can be used to welcome a person, send them
      Off and at funerals and weddings. So special occasions. It's wonderful and spiritual even if it isn't your culture. People connect to t.

    Haha who put this on youtube? Does the owner know? The first haka is called Tau ka tau. I think thats how you spell it. Performed by family at my brother's wedding.

    Way to fast it not a race to see who can do the Haka the fastest it doesn't look good when a Haka is done to face just not scary at all

      That’s how we perform , we don’t go off how slow or how fast, at that time that’s what was rushing through us so we rolled with it .... filled us with mana but open to your opinion bro
      Or sis??? Quite welcome to throw one of your hakas up bro......

    • @r3dwulfbeats13
      @r3dwulfbeats13 3 года назад +1

      That's how we were taught at Hato Petera. Then me and my cousins went back to were we are from Ngati Maniapoto. And taught our cuzzys. We have years of experience in kapa haka. And know how to control the tempo. So your opinion is not valid, and doesn't mean teko to us and 100s of Maori who were taught certain ways and values . But can see how you could think that. If you don't have the knowledge or education.
