I was walking my gelding who colicked regularly, waiting for a friend with an extra wide horse trailer, to take him to a veterinary hospital, when he literally dropped dead as I was walking him up and down.

I'm so sorry. She definitely made her mark on me. Hell you guys helped me when I wen ton my first cross country lesson this past Monday. I always watched your x country videos and imitated you guys. But she's happier now. She always loved you and cared for you no matter if she acted like she hated you or not. God will take care of her and she's always beside you so don't fell alone. I don't drink but I will pray for you. All I can do is say I'm sorry for your loss and it will get better. No one can replace her but she wouldn't want you to not pursue your riding dreams because of her passing. No horse can fill the hole she left in your heart and you may think you can't love an equine as much as you loved her but you may not be able to live an equine like you loved her but you can give another the love you gave Pige. I started crying while reading this, because it was such a lovely horse with an amazing rider, and i have learned so much from you. You helped with the counting before a jump, 1, 2, 3, jump. and i began copying stuf like good boy / girl (im dutch, so for other people it was a bit strange) and instead of : hooo (its how we say in dutch, kind of...) i started to say whooo ( with the slowing down or something like that.) I wish you a lot of strengt and love, and remember that there are so much people who loved you both

Aw this is so sweet and she will always be in our hearts. I know more in yours than ours. I always enjoyed each day coming on to RUclips and getting excited when seeing a new video from you and Pigeon, and always would watch it more than once. She was a beautiful mare, and as they say "Once you've won a mares heart, they will do anything and everything for you. And you will always be in there heart." Iwas told this when getting my first mare last year. Sadly, she is no longer mine as i had to move and she could not come with, big shame. Pigeon, a great horse, great mare, great friend, Rest In Peace.

I remember staying up until stupid o'clock in the morning watching all of your cross country videos! Tears are pouring down my eyes as I read this. You made the right choice. I've had to put down 3 horses, one due to old age, one to an accident (Sweeney) in her pasture, one to a positive Coggins (my first horse). Jake was my 4th horse, a rescue, a gorgeous chestnut with a white blaze and 4 white socks, who piafed in place naturally due to nerves and passaged like he was dancing on a cloud. He was starved/ as thin as a greyhound when I got him, never wormed, and kicked in the stomach and beaton. They hated him so much, they called him Weasel, and his registered name was Milestone.s Aaron. No one had ridden him, and he was 9 when I got him. 'No one rode him because of all the beatings, and at one time in his life had gotten a bridle on him, and then savaged him with the bit in his mouth. It used to take me over an hour to get him to take the bit, and he'd hold his head way up. To get it out, I used to undue a cheek strap and let him work it out, as he'd go nuts. After I trained him, a child rode him who was small in stature, and Jake wa 15 and a half hands. Everyone wanted to buy him, he was bomb proof. He coliced so many times, over 18. The last time I was waiting to take him to a vet hospital and he dropped dead on the end of the lead line as I was walking him. Now I have my 35 year old gelding, who is still fit, whom I still ride. He has no teeth, so he has to eat horse cubes soaked in water. I dread when he goes. Pigeon had the best life ever, and I was so shocked when I read your new video. I so enjoyed you both, you were always so kind to her during schooling, etc. God bless.

I am beyond sorry to hear of you loss of the beautiful pigeon. From the videos of her she definitely seemed like a one in a million horse. My mare who I have also own for 7 years was also diagnosed with Cushing disease or PPID earlier this year and she is also on medication for life it is also prascend she is on too so I understand how devastating it is. Pigeon can join mine and my mum beautiful horse blossom who we lost 4 years ago on the 14th October 2012 to colic. They can run round in horse heaven together ❤️ pigeon will never be forgotten x

I only very recently found your channel, and spent hours going through the suggested videos of yours because Pigeon reminds me so much of a mare that I've just recently started to ride. I absolutely adore watching all your GoPro videos, mostly because I love to hear you chatting away to her and watching how she responds to your voice. It's so clear that you both had so much respect for each other, and that's something you don't see that strongly very often. I'm so sorry to hear that she passed; she seemed to be a phenomenal horse, and you looked like amazing partners. I can 100% honestly say though, it's obvious that you loved her a lot and treated her remarkably well and with such a rare level of understanding; I genuinely don't think she could have been in better hands than yours.
I'm so sorry you lost Pigeon today, I have gone through this before, me only being 13. I was really hard, but some say endings lead to new beginnings. I'm sure you'll find another horse that you will make great memories with, but Pigeon will always remain in your heart.
Also, thank you for sharing your lovely Pigeon with us on here. Feel your pain. Horse and dog put down in last three months. Both old, but still feel sad and miss them too much.

I've always loved your videos, watching you jump terrifically over those XC jumps made me so happy and Pige's fantastic speed really excited me. In memory of your sassy mare, I named the goal Pigeon. Oh sweet Pigeon. I'm so sorry you had to say goodbye to your equine friend. She was an amazing, sassy, silly and one heck of teacher! Typical mare at times, but she was honest and kind. She's up above eating all the grass she can find and munching on carrots!
Pigeon was a great horse. She’s watching over you, I’m sure. She knows you did your best for her, which in the end is understandable. You gave her a wonderful life. You obviously love her. I send my love and respect to you and your horse. The bond will never be broken xx

Sorry about pigeon R.I.P. I loved watching you and pigeon fly over the jumps. In 2015 I had a very bad fall and broke my collar bone at my riding school and it's all better now and I lost a lot of confidence and watching you and pigeon jump I feel a lot braver. Thank you and Rest In Peace pigeon
I know exactly what it's like to lose an animal like that. It's really really hard to see but I know you made the right decision. I started crying while reading this, because it was such a lovely horse with an amazing rider, and i have learned so much from you. You helped with the counting before a jump, 1, 2, 3, jump. and i began copying stuf like good boy / girl (im dutch, so for other people it was a bit strange) and instead of : hooo (its how we say in dutch, kind of...) i started to say whooo ( with the slowing down or something like that.)
I wish you a lot of strengt and love, and remember that there are so much people who loved you both

Aw this is so sweet and she will always be in our hearts. I know more in yours than ours. I always enjoyed each day coming on to RUclips and getting excited when seeing a new video from you and Pigeon, and always would watch it more than once. She was a beautiful mare, and as they say "Once you've won a mares heart, they will do anything and everything for you. And you will always be in there heart." Iwas told this when getting my first mare last year. Sadly, she is no longer mine as i had to move and she could not come with, big shame. Pigeon, a great horse, great mare, great friend, Rest In Peace.

I hadn't checked on your channel for a few months, I certainly wasn't expecting this news! I welled up! Im so sorry for your loss, though I've no doubt Pigeon will live on in the hearts of many! I remember staying up until stupid o'clock in the morning watching all of your cross country videos! She was a lovely, talented little horse, and she obviously lived a fantastic life being spoilt and pampered. Long live Pigeon! 💗💗

Tears are pouring down my eyes as I read this. You made the right choice. I've had to put down 3 horses, one due to old age, one to an accident (Sweeney) in her pasture, one to a positive Coggins (my first horse). Jake was my 4th horse, a rescue, a gorgeous chestnut with a white blaze and 4 white socks, who piafed in place naturally due to nerves and passaged like he was dancing on a cloud. He was starved/ as thin as a greyhound when I got him, never wormed, and kicked in the stomach and beaton. They hated him so much, they called him Weasel, and his registered name was Milestone.s
Aaron. No one had ridden him, and he was 9 when I got him. 'No one rode him because of all the beatings, and at one time in his life had gotten a bridle on him, and then savaged him with the bit in his mouth. It used to take me over an hour to get him to take the bit, and he'd hold his head way up. To get it out, I used to undue a cheek strap and let him work it out, as he'd go nuts. After I trained him, a child rode him who was small in stature, and Jake wa 15 and a half hands. Everyone wanted to buy him, he was bomb proof. He coliced so many times, over 18. The last time I was waiting to take him to a vet hospital and he dropped dead on the end of the lead line as I was walking him. Now I have my 35 year old gelding, who is still fit, whom I still ride. He has no teeth, so he has to eat horse cubes soaked in water. I dread when he goes. Pigeon had the best life ever, and I was so shocked when I read your new video. I so enjoyed you both, you were always so kind to her during schooling, etc. God bless.

I am beyond sorry to hear of you loss of the beautiful pigeon. From the videos of her she definitely seemed like a one in a million horse. My mare who I have also own for 7 years was also diagnosed with Cushing disease or PPID earlier this year and she is also on medication for life it is also prascend she is on too so I understand how devastating it is. Pigeon can join mine and my mum beautiful horse blossom who we lost 4 years ago on the 14th October 2012 to colic. They can run round in horse heaven together ❤️ pigeon will never be forgotten x

I only very recently found your channel, and spent hours going through the suggested videos of yours because Pigeon reminds me so much of a mare that I've just recently started to ride.
I absolutely adore watching all your GoPro videos, mostly because I love to hear you chatting away to her and watching how she responds to your voice. It's so clear that you both had so much respect for each other, and that's something you don't see that strongly very often. I'm so sorry to hear that she passed; she seemed to be a phenomenal horse, and you looked like amazing partners.
I can 100% honestly say though, it's obvious that you loved her a lot and treated her remarkably well and with such a rare level of understanding; I genuinely don't think she could have been in better hands than yours.

I'm so sorry you lost Pigeon today, I have gone through this before, me only being 13. I was really hard, but some say endings lead to new beginnings. I'm sure you'll find another horse that you will make great memories with, but Pigeon will always remain in your heart.
