This is so unexplainably beautiful honeslty. I read the description and I gave myself no other choice but to save every single thing you said in a document. That was truly inspriring. The transitions between these songs is amazing. I remember when I was young, I had a tiny green iPod shuffle (yep the tiny square) tucked under my bed and my earbuds on with "Whisper ft. I accidentally clicked on this but then I heard. Then I saw the description. Then I realized I've been looking for something to listen to when I've been feeling melancholy for months now. Thank you. I'll fall asleep to this under my lonely sheets.
ive been studying the religious/magical tradition of ancient greek goetia recently, which translates to something akin to 'wailing' because the practitioners were funeral mourners and death-midwives by trade, and i really feel like this music is a contemporary part of such a tradition. goetes were said to be able to summon the spirits of the dead with their cries of lamentation, and truly their emotion was their power in such feats. this music features heavy themes of mourning, and even of restless spirits haunting the narrator who were never given proper burials and lain to rest in peace. their struggles remain unresolved, and for that they cannot move on. by lamenting them, their needs are acknowledged and their bitterness is assuaged until they and we can at last part in peace. perhaps not happily, or even fully forgiven, but healed enough that we may go their separate roads to recover in our own ways

Every single piece transitions beautifully into the next, each piece stands out with its own atmosphere and feeling, but comes together remarkably as a wonderful 50 minute masterpiece that I could spend days listening to. In fact I have, and every time I do, I find a new little gem that finds its way to my heart. This is actually the first time I've heard anything by Crywolf, but it definitely will not be the last. I'm glad that youtube recommended this video to me. It's been appearing in my recommended video section for quite some time already and i'd never clicked on it until today. And.... What a discovery it is!!
How beautiful it is... I'm SO- glad to met this album and you. I appreciate you, gave this kind of great song. I want to say a lot, but I don't know how to express... only thing that I can say is "Thank you : )"
Glad I didn't find this earlier. I wouldn't have recognized the greatness in this piece of art and I would've just forgotten it... Now it's the moment. I want this to be my life's soundtrack.
this is real music. this is the music you return to time and time again. this is the music that embraces you, holding you tight in the beautiful notes of raw emotion. this is the music that inspires your soul, nurses your wounds and whispers to your heart. this is the music that you fall in love with. this is the music that can only be defined as art. thankyou, crywolf, for an album that is simply overflowing in perfection and artistry. it was well worth the effort.
Does anybody else feel like they can only listen to the album together on loop? Like I don't want to hear the songs individually because I like the evolution of the whole album
I've always drank alone, for the past decade at least. I think my mom really messed me up throughout the time i had to be in her house, endless screaming. She loved me, that's for sure. I've always had my music, though it is only my tertiary outlet, it has always held a special place in my "heart". Sometimes fighting for it all, sometimes ripping it apart for reason, sometimes sending it deep below to die or be reborn. I see money as power, power feeds ego. Justin seems untouched in his words. There are many interpretations to his words, I only personally hope he is not singing to a woman or women in general. These words are so powerful, they can change the world. His voice is excellent to me, unfortunately i cannot tell that his only focus is his voice as i did with Chester Bennington, of course, what voice altering mechanisms did Bennington have at his disposal? Jared Leto is the master of words on an omnilogical level in my opinion. To sum up; I think Justin owes a lot of his success to the dark meloDIES that accompany his seemingly tortured soul. His words though... "Good God" Justin.... Help us Further
I've been listening to this album for over a year now (not continuously, of course, and mostly on Spotify), and I thought I should leave a comment here. This album is something I never thought I'd listen to, when I first clicked. I'm a metalhead, always have been, always will be. But this album...it's beautiful. This album brings out emotions that I can't describe, and you know you've done good when your audience can't even put their thoughts into words. So, Crywolf, although you may never see this comment, I'd just like you to know that you have done a wonderful thing by creating this album. Every time I listen, I get the same sense of awe, the same chills that I got when I heard it the first time. You've created something I can listen to time and time again, and still find new things to love about each song. You've given me, and countless others, an album for inspiration, an album for those sad days, an album to fall asleep to... But I'm just waxing poetic at this point. Thank you, Crywolf.
This album is so great. I keep coming back to this album and I know why, it's because it so damn unique. It's a symbol for pushing boundaries and pure work of art, not about fame or money, just art and creativity.
For those who wonder about the discovery of someone through random clicking, think about this... The story starts with a man or woman and a dream to make music and express their feelings through sound. The individual either does not have the budget for marketing, does not care about marketing, or simply just wants to make music for themselves or share it and for others to discover. When money is not the goal, you usually will find someone genuine.
this is my second time listening to this album and i realized i didn't pay attention to nothing the first time. I find it so therapeutic since i am a person most likely to not show feelings like sadness at all and as i listen to these soothing rythms i'm thinking about some unfortunate recent moments in my life and letting the tears flow like i didn't when they actually happened. Sometimes it's good to embrace those blue feelings even though we don't like them or we don't want to show them. 100/10 for Crywolf and cataclasm, i love it so much and i hope i can listen to more jewels like these in the future.
I wish more people knew about Crywolf so they could experience this eargasmic journey
His cover of Never Be Like You was my intro to him and I've never looked back.

Now I can enjoy your music and This flippin' new album without being sad, it give me energy because your music is si strong. It reveal beauty of live, in every moment of lonelyness. I can now appreciate life without being sad, all by myself, and maybe your music help me for that. I'm sure i'm not the only one who reconize himslef in your music, so inspiring. Thanks and keep it on music ! :) Guillaume, from France.
This honestly might be my favorite album of all time.
I can't believe it's your debut album..... can't wait for my future kids to jam to you!
Just found a masterpiece! This album is just 10/10.
I'm glad that youtube recommended this video to me. It's been appearing in my recommended video section for quite some time already and i'd never clicked on it until today. And.... What a discovery it is!!
Every time a new song comes on, I check to make sure I've liked the album XD
an entire lifetime can be lived in just one song. it's all about where the music takes your mind. =) again, I thank you.
Damn. Never been so happy that I randomly clicked on a video. Amazing
I just clicked on this cause I liked the photo. I'm super happy i did
Accidentally got here but hey, thats a very good work. These songs touched my soul...
Crywolf's music is immortal, timeless, and pure. to this day I cherish this album with so much love.
Thank you
How beautiful it is... I'm SO- glad to met this album and you. I appreciate you, gave this kind of great song. I want to say a lot, but I don't know how to express... only thing that I can say is "Thank you : )"
this album seems to do a lot with my life. It's like listening to my own mind if my thoughts were told with music instead of words. Nice deep harmony.
I love it when i 'wander' onto this side of youtube. This is a great album, fresh sound and you are very talented.
This guy absolutely knows how to wield strings...
His string sections are stunning.
I love this! RUclips recommended it to me and I'm so glad. You're such a great artist. I really hope we'll be hearing more from you!!
Glad I didn't find this earlier. I wouldn't have recognized the greatness in this piece of art and I would've just forgotten it... Now it's the moment.
I want this to be my life's soundtrack.
SERIOUSLY. This album is UNREAL.
this is real music. this is the music you return to time and time again. this is the music that embraces you, holding you tight in the beautiful notes of raw emotion. this is the music that inspires your soul, nurses your wounds and whispers to your heart. this is the music that you fall in love with. this is the music that can only be defined as art.
thankyou, crywolf, for an album that is simply overflowing in perfection and artistry.
it was well worth the effort.
why such music is found only by means of random clicks?
This music needs more lone!
Always happens to me
because evil incarnate rules the hollywood industry and all the bullshit that comes out of MTV.... =)
Truth
@@beadmeup5531 yup
this is what i've been lookin for. I couldn't find anything that would match with what i felt like. This album has no weak parts. Beautiful
Does anybody else feel like they can only listen to the album together on loop? Like I don't want to hear the songs individually because I like the evolution of the whole album
This mix, a dark and rainy night, the warm of someone special, just so perfect
♪ We all know you put the wrong version of "The Queen Of Fiji" up the first time! ♫
But we still love your music. ♥
I know this is a two year old comment but what are you talking about? What was the wrong version?
Cry wolf you are a musician who has pure talent. :)
This music... touches my soul.
This album is really welly done, Energetic and soothing elements together :D love it!
Totally underrated
As soon as I heard Heyr Himna Smidur, I was completely sold!
Thanks RUclips for sharing another talentuous artist!
This album is so great. I keep coming back to this album and I know why, it's because it so damn unique. It's a symbol for pushing boundaries and pure work of art, not about fame or money, just art and creativity.
Cataclasm?
more like....
CataGASM, amirite?
For those who wonder about the discovery of someone through random clicking, think about this...
The story starts with a man or woman and a dream to make music and express their feelings through sound.
The individual either does not have the budget for marketing, does not care about marketing, or simply just wants to make music for themselves or share it and for others to discover.
When money is not the goal, you usually will find someone genuine.
magnifique !! je viens juste de découvrir je voyage rien qu'en fermant les yeux... a la hauteur de woodkind j'adore.
this is my second time listening to this album and i realized i didn't pay attention to nothing the first time.
