You can walk at night in KL, The myth that you will get murder if you walk in KL is just that, a myth. It has been proven wrong countless times. Keep in mind that it's best to avoid walking alone in badly-lit areas or places with a high number of bars and clubs for obvious reason. I mean that applies to almost every city so i don't know why people still believe it's dangerous...
1. U are not allowed to smoke in any restoren or inside mall.. Go outside to smoke 2. U hv to wear mask all the time in public places. No mask.. U are not allowed to enter any premises 3. U are not allowed to drive over 110km/hour on federal highway. North South highway 4. U are welcome to Malaysia... If u can follow these simple rules and actually good to us..

It's better to be safe than sorry, anywhere, anytime, while still in this world. 3. Most homes, especially Malay's or Muslim's require shoes off. Some homes don't. 4. Insulting, foods or anything else, isn't a good behaviour, everywhere in the world. 5. There are scammers. The best is to use public transports (trains/busses) or Grab (I believe it's Uber in the USA). 6. It's not true. You can use your index finger and most Malaysians don't mind bcoz we understand other people's culture. But most Malaysians particularly the Malays will use their thumbs instead of index finger to point to other people or places/areas. 7. Not true. You can shake hands normally like any other culture EXCEPT with the opposite gender of a Muslim person. If you're a male, avoid shaking hands (and touching) another female Muslim. Substitute greetings by placing your right hand on your left chest and bow just a little bit while maintaining eye contact. 8. Not just kissing. Any amorous acts are discouraged in public. But minor act/show of compassion between lawful wedded couples (eg holding hands) aren't issues and very well acceptable. 9. Non-Muslims aren't prohibited to consume liquor but keep it private or in permissible public places (eg pubs, clubs etc.). Some clubs do serve liquor in limited public areas as prescribed by our laws. 10. Burping is okay but Malaysians still try as hard not to burp openly in public. P/S:Execution isn't the main punishment by Malaysian laws. Only certain offences are punishable by death eg drug trafficking, first degree murder. We still do have imprisonment, fines etc.
