What a lovely gift for your sister. Recently, I ordered a variety of things from JetPens to send to a friend who just had surgery and has a six week recovery ahead of her. I am introducing her to fountain pens, bought some Dachshund clips (she's a doxie lover), and other cute statonery items along with a Blind Date with A Book. Before I bought any pencil cases from JetPens, I watched a lot of videos of What's in My Pencil Case, and I ended up with a Delfonics pouch. I highly recommend them! They come in two sizes.
I love watching What’s in My Pencil Case videos and I love Delfonics pouches!! They actually come in at least 3 sizes that I’m aware of and I own all 3 of them¨̮ The medium is way too big for me to use as a journaling case but I use it for my fountain pen accessories, I’m not really using the small for anything though it is a nice size, and the XS is surprisingly my faaaavorite. Great choice for your friend, she’s lucky to have a friend like you. Wishing a smooth and speedy recovery for her! I’m also very intrigued by this “Blind Date with a Book” so thank you for sharing¨̮
@@papelesdeelib My son gave me a Blind Date with A Book from our library for Mother's Day. I never heard of it before, but it's been around, especially for Valentine's Day. You choose a book and wrap it in kraft paper or a paper bag. Write on it "Blind Date with A Book" and add the genre or a teaser. Add a bow of twine and a tag or whatever you want. Do a RUclips or Google Images search to see what they look like. My friend is a stationery nerd, as I am, too, and has arthritis in her hand. She's never used a fountain pen. I'm sure this will help her.
omg, I remember you! you commented so quickly, made me feel like a RUclips star🤩 I might just print this comment out and paste it in my Hobonichi hahaha. Thank you so much for your support, means a lot that you really stuck around🥹🫶🏽
@@papelesdeelib haha I think I got lucky with opening youtube when you happened to post. you are a youtube star! literally i follow like zero other stationery creators because they don't have your energy. keep doing what you do!
I wish you would share the name of the video you saw to see what you were expecting vs what you get (a chuncky but cute kit ) anyway nice video!!! Super cute idea I might do one for myself 😊
I’m so happy you said something! I TOTALLY meant to link the video in the description so I could give that creator credit, and I just forgot…I’ve now added it, I just wish I had remembered before I got to 9k views😩 Better late than never! Their set-up is actually SUPER slim compared to this one, very impressive. If you make a kit you have to make a video and come back and tell me, just because they’re so fun to look at🤭
She seemed very pleased when she opened it! I haven’t seen her using it yet but, to be fair, I rarely get to see her at all anyway since college keeps her busy and far away and we don’t live together even when she IS home🥹

You are a wonderful sister!
That's such a nice and thoughtful gift1 Thinking of doing one for my sisters, too. Love the video!
I hope this gave you some ideas! Curating something special for someone is so fun, I hope you enjoy it and that she loves it. Thanks for commenting🥰
If my sister was into stuff like this, I’d totally copy your idea! It’s so cute!
I’m glad you enjoyed!! At least this idea will be at the ready for when a stationery lover waltzes into your life☺️
Adorable!
I appreciate ya saying so😌

So, did she like the gift?

The pouch too small to fit all... a good idea to know the pouch sizes before buying....
