This video is so helpful. Thank you for posting it. I have one question.... I have a large format printer and can't figure out how to set the image to print directly to my canvas? It keeps showing me multiple pages, but my paper is big enough to print the whole image.

Hi Nataliya, how do you know how many stiches to choose and how big it will be with those stitches? Also how do you know what is the best amount of colors to choose or can you choose too many? Would too many colors make it more pixelated?

What's the best software to use for custom diamond painting. I used art stitch easy and I previewed the painting before printing, and after completing the picture, one of the faces looks too clumped up with the same colour. I was sent a screen grab of a picture. Any ideas as I wanted the faces to have better detail.
What did you print your diamond painting image onto what type of paper.
It's like 110 pound cardstock paper, I think.

What is the measurements used in this program? Examples when creating the painting is the height and width in inches or cm?

@@edibleclassics3655 just find an online store that sells spare drills (the diamonds) most store will have a dmc search bar. the program will generate the dmc numbers so all you have to do is enter the numbers onto their site. Hope this helped

Any recommendation on how to get the right size for the diamond drills? I’ve followed your video and selected every option in the video but my printer square size is too small for the drill when printed. 50+ pages with different sizes (stitch, cm, inches) I’ve tried and the drill still doesn’t fit, the squares are still too small with the end result.
Try to change settings for your printer, to print with out borders. Make it to zero
@@Lovecraftforever finally fixed it! It wasn’t a border issue; In the preview and print section the stitch cell size was slightly too small, increased the size and it’s perfect to fit the drills ❤️❤️ thank you so much for your video! It makes using the software so much easier

It’s probably size of the stitch, that you are missing. I believe it’s 2.50 mm. This should work

how to make it with adhesive
When I did mine (before this software), I used doubled sided fabric tape. That is a really strong adhesive tape. You won't worry about the color smudging because it's just tape. I got the fabric tape from Michaels. Hobby Lobby has it too.

@@SergeDallAva for the glue you can use diamond embroidery Double-sided adhesive glue (Aliexpress) or if you want the cheaper option you can use Aleene's Tack It Over Fabric Glue (Amazon)
for the paper you can use anything but if you want to do a larger picture than A4 size i would recommend printing the pattern on normal paper and then stick it onto a larger blank diamond paint canvas. This helps with storage as well as strengthen the printed paper for when you want to frame it

@@edibleclassics3655 thank you for your comment. The program will generate for you DMC colors based on your photo. Also you can change some colors if you don't like it

I save all my files to my Picture folders, never think of PDF. But there is "save" on the left top corner, look in it
Try with the print option. It usually has the PDF creator option that converts any document to PDF. Hope that helps :)

@@ahauswal pretty good to learn about it. Just make sure to download what i say in the link, as the other program could have some virus. This one is safe and i was playing last night with it too.

I made a custom diamond painting before I knew about this program. With the custom diamond painting I did, I just did it by what colors I saw.
When you go to print, do you print with the photo color print settings or just the default color print settings? I find that printing on cardstock with photo color print settings makes the picture colors a lot darker.
