1. They need to see the extent of the lipstick in the nose by doing xray 2. It's anaesthesia to remove the lipstick 3. Xray is harmful for pregnant ladies, so they need to check as well
The writers recreated Phil and Claire's relationship with Dylan and Haley. Even though some people don't like it, that's the mark of good storytelling.
@@davidlizama223 It's not vague at all. A good story is flowing and consistent. Having dated an Andy and then marrying a Dylan , Andy's are those you want to end up with because it looks so good on paper. But the Dylan's are the one's you should end up with because they are your weird other half ❤
Same and I dont get why everyone was rooting for Andy. I did not like them together. The tension building was kinda cute but I think Dylan is the better fit and I will die on that hill.
I can see why people don't like Dylan, holy hell. I don't mind that he's not the smartest character, but I absolutely loathe that he's every sitcom's stereotypically dense and clueless character. The "comedic relief" kind of character. Now, why I can understand why someone people would've liked to see Haley end on a complete 180 (focusing on self and career over romantic/sexual relationships and partying), I don't think it's inherently bad that she ended up with a simple life as a young mother. Because that's honestly pretty realistic. Especially for someone who had the type of life experiences she did as a young teen/adult. And I think it's pretty humbling for her since she's working at a job she likes and paying for her home/kids. I would've liked had they kept going to show that she can still focus on her career while being a young mom. I just don't like that it's with Dylan. I liked their get-back-together scene, but that seems to be it. I wish they would've kept his puppy-like playfulness but showed more improvements elsewhere.
This is kind of how my younger daughter found out about her second pregnancy. I took her to the hospital for a minor procedure. I offered to wait, but she told me to go ahead and take off; she'd call me when she was ready to be picked up. She called less than 20 minutes later. I hadn't even got very far, so I turned around. She met me in the lobby and had a weird look on her face. I asked why they hadn't performed the procedure, and looked sheepish and said, "Because I'm pregnant." I knew she and my SIL were trying for a second, but no one expected it to happen so quickly. Of course, I called her mom immediately. SIL was the first to know, by the way. Also, she was having twins, but we didn't know that for a few weeks.
I honestly wish we never saw Dylan again after Season 7. At the very least keep him moved on. He shouldn't have been Haley's end goal. It undid her growth. Andy actually brought out the best in Haley.
It's not that she ended up with Dylan that hurts, it's how they threw away her character development. She could've held a really cool fashion job AND been with Dylan, but noo
I didn’t mind Dylan but I feel like this was the easy way out with her ark. I know things ended with Andy because of his personal endeavors but man he was perfect for her. Imo.
I'm glad they at least gave Dylan the medical side to give him a bit of intelligence and confidence. If they'd kept Dylan exactly the same it would've been awful
Plus, Alex end sucks. She ended with a guy that never looked at her but her sister, she deserved someone that loved her for who she really was, not this awkward thing rushed for her not to be alone.
I was also angry that she didn’t end up with Andy at first, but ultimately I think this was the right decision. Andy was important for Hailey to start growing, but it felt like they would have never been on the same level. It feels like she and Dylan had an actual partnership where both worked on themselves and they grew together. Also, don't forget that Andy was also a cheater.
I think Dylan was the best for her, Andy literally cheated on his girlfriend for 8 years with Haley, so how loyal is he? and he literally got bothered when he knew that his girlfriend cheated on him too when he was with Haley, I think Dylan always loved her and he said that it has been 10 years and he still can’t get over her and he also said that he would keep making himself better until he deserves her, he is so sweet and responsible and he really was there for her when he knew she was pregnant, I don’t think it’s fair that everyone wanted her to end up with Andy
Well with great-grandparents like Jay & Gloria, grandparents like Phil & Claire, aunts/uncles like Mitch, Cam, Alex, Luke, Manny & Joe, and a cousin like Lily … it’ll be chaos, but the kids will turn out alright. Haley & Dylan won’t raise them alone.
I loved Dylan’s character (and the actor) but the writers threw away every drop of character development that Sarah Hyland brought Haley through. I know Adam Devine was busy, but they should have gone ahead and done a recast to have her end up with Andy instead of Dylan.
I hate that one of the supporting arguments that dylan is nice is that he didn't run away from being a dad. Its the bare fucking minimum T.T I hate this planet
I don’t care about Andy. I love him and Haley together and wish they were endgame but I understand why he didn’t come back. What I don’t understand is why that meant she had to get back together with Dylan. She had grown up and away from him. I love Dylan and I think they were great as a teenage relationship and I am proud he got his life together. I think it would have been nice to see them be friends. But did Hayley have to marry him and have his children? It feels wrong. She developed a lot and her character went backwards and I feel like this is a big reason why. I hate her pregnancy but I can deal with that. I think throwing in babies is usually lazy writing and I usually hate the trope of oops baby at the end of a story. Her career should have been the big focus on where she ended in the show. Or some non pregnancy related thing. But if she had to have the twins, she should have stayed single. I can see her and Dylan as coparents, and I think that actually would be cool to see, but it did both of them a major disservice to have them end up together.
People love it when cheating is shown as romantic and cheater is in love with main character. They say things like "life isn't black and white" and "they are made for each other".
I think they made Haley grow closer with her parents through her pregnancy because it was so similar to the situation that happened to her parents when they had her

I liked Haley and Claire's conversation
3 mistakes
1. Why an X-ray for broken nose when it was just the lipstick that had gone inside?
2. Why anaesthesia for Xray?
3. Why Xray if found to be pregnant?
1. They need to see the extent of the lipstick in the nose by doing xray
2. It's anaesthesia to remove the lipstick
3. Xray is harmful for pregnant ladies, so they need to check as well
relax it’s a tv show
The last question: If pregnancy is confirmed, you can take an x-ray by covering the abdomen with a lead jacket
Actually Hayden and Dilly are adorable names.
Wow, that medical professional just violated the hell out of HIPPAA
It's really great how Dylan totally changed himself to be so responsible
"are you mad at me"hes so sweet😭
The writers recreated Phil and Claire's relationship with Dylan and Haley. Even though some people don't like it, that's the mark of good storytelling.
“the mark of good storytelling”, that’s very vague and boils down to opinion
@@davidlizama223 It's not vague at all. A good story is flowing and consistent. One that doesn't leave a lot of questions unanswered, but when it does it's only because it has to be reread or rewatched. These are the most satisfying. If the writers had also given Alex a man who resembled Phil and Luke a woman who resembled Claire, everything would've been full circle and so much better, however, the way it actually ended was good enough.
it wasn't good storytelling lmao, it was just a lazy way for the writers to fix their mistakes with her character after season 7
@@jadetotally Interesting. What mistakes are you referring to?
@@elainagilbert7663 getting rid of her photography storyline, getting her fired from that fashion designer, having her freeload around her parents house, etc. They didn't know what to do with her character after Andy left so they just started sticking stuff on her until something finally stuck
Having dated an Andy and then marrying a Dylan , Andy's are those you want to end up with because it looks so good on paper. But the Dylan's are the one's you should end up with because they are your weird other half ❤
"you'll be eating for one now" ooooh burnnnnn 😂🔥
“I’ll hit you from the other side!” LMFAOOO
If they wanted someone preggo I think Alex would have been more interesting
Or if Luke got someone pregnant.
Dylan was always my favorite
After he performed Do Me I was sold plus everyone was still singing it
Same and I dont get why everyone was rooting for Andy. I did not like them together. The tension building was kinda cute but I think Dylan is the better fit and I will die on that hill.
Having gone through nursing school.... there is no way Dylan became a nurse.
Having been a nurse for 10 years... I've seen worse....
@@annalee6304 hahaha... I have known pretty flighty nurses. That's true.
She should have been with Andy and work on her career. The writers messed up her character.
The guy who plays Andy was already booked for something else so they didn’t mess it up. They had to rewrite it last minute
She said I did the math
never seen the show other than clips, but dylan seems like a good dude, was surprised to see he was a nurse? didnt think he had the smarts lol
Sil?
@@joshuadixon4090 Abbreviation for Son-In-Law.
1:15 Right? Dylan not sure if it's his child 😂
Really wish Andy had been endgame. Being with Dylan after all her growth felt like a cop out.
Nah
I honestly wish we never saw Dylan again after Season 7. At the very least keep him moved on. He shouldn't have been Haley's end goal. It undid her growth. Andy actually brought out the best in Haley.
It's not that she ended up with Dylan that hurts, it's how they threw away her character development. She could've held a really cool fashion job AND been with Dylan, but noo
While Dylan was a nice guy he wasn’t great for her. Andy brought out the best in her and made her become a better person.
Did anyone notice how Dylan said she’s be eating for one now.
They are adorable together. Dylan doesn’t deserve the hate.
I liked her with Andy but Dylan made a lot of sense.
Doesn’t make sense they’d do an X-ray before finding out about the pregnany
I didn’t mind Dylan but I feel like this was the easy way out with her ark. I know things ended with Andy because of his personal endeavors but man he was perfect for her. Imo.
I'm glad they at least gave Dylan the medical side to give him a bit of intelligence and confidence. If they'd kept Dylan exactly the same it would've been awful
That is so sweet that he wanted to do the right thing by her and the baby and not just abandon them like most men seem to now. Its so sad.
No but the fact that you guys like Andy---
I’m lying in bed and when the video ended my iPad almost fell on my face
Plus, Alex end sucks. She ended with a guy that never looked at her but her sister, she deserved someone that loved her for who she really was, not this awkward thing rushed for her not to be alone.
All the cells in his brain left, and just moved to his heart. Thats why hes head is do empty, but he has such a sweet heart
So he’s like Phil in that regard.
Haley is so cute
I think Dylan was the best for her, Andy literally cheated on his girlfriend for 8 years with Haley, so how loyal is he? and he literally got bothered when he knew that his girlfriend cheated on him too when he was with Haley, I think Dylan always loved her and he said that it has been 10 years and he still can’t get over her and he also said that he would keep making himself better until he deserves her, he is so sweet and responsible and he really was there for her when he knew she was pregnant, I don’t think it’s fair that everyone wanted her to end up with Andy
The king of queens is a queen show from 20th century Columbia television.
She chose this path and that she was able to freely shape her future is what should matter the most.
Dylan may lack street smarts but he was surely a gentleman. he would really take care of his wife and children
A lot of guys would cut and run but he stayed I admire him 🏃♂️
People don’t give enough credit to Dylan. He was great too.
When Haley is the brains in the relationship, you know there’s something wrong. Nice and stupid won’t keep the kid fed or safe.
He is literally a nurse. He pulled his weight for Haley and to be honest, he is an amazing dad. Better dads than most TV dads.
@@scorpioj3 difference between book smart and common sense
@@tinasapienza6552 Yea, almost no one has common sense, most especially the people who always use it as an indicator of intelligence.
I love how Haley found out she's pregnant lol so unusual
« you’ll be eating for one now » - they really never addressed Haley’s anorexia and Alex’s isolation and lack of self-esteem
I loved Dylan’s character (and the actor) but the writers threw away every drop of character development that Sarah Hyland brought Haley through. I know Adam Devine was busy, but they should have gone ahead and done a recast to have her end up with Andy instead of Dylan.
I love Haley ❤❤ Haley has a baby with Dylan in season 10 or 11 and I love them ❤
That was the wrong way to tell someone about a pregnancy
What season and episode
Modern Family : S10E08(Kids these Days)
Don't see why ppl dislike Haley ending up with Dylan. He's alright compared to earlier years.
He sounded brainy when he says last time you did maths we left a 300$ tip😂
I hate that one of the supporting arguments that dylan is nice is that he didn't run away from being a dad. Its the bare fucking minimum T.T I hate this planet
I really think this whole arc should've started in season 2 or 3.
Fr like when she got pregnant she was 26 like everyone acting like it’s some teen pregnancy
Dylan is so pure and love❤
Thank you Hayley and DylanMarshal you are the best
Why do people like Andy? Didn't he cheat in his then fiancé with Haley? Do we need a proven cheater?
People love it when cheating is shown as romantic and cheater is in love with main character. They say things like "life isn't black and white" and "they are made for each other".
Andy?! Dylan? Nah...
Rainer Shine was her one true love ! 😂
Haley ending up with Dylan destroyed all her character development.
I love that she ends up with the lovable Dylan, Andy was way too slick.
I’d of preferred Andy but since I also ended up with my first love Dillon is a good guy
