On my best friends birthday, November 5th, she passed away at work. Needless to say, this song means the world to me. I still miss her very much.

Even if anything happened to my ex wife I don't know how I would react. Yes we done but he is my son's mother. GOD thank you Cece and Bebe. May GOD BLESS THE BOTH OF YOU. My Dad also passed away and I MISS HIM SO MUCH just to be there to GUIDE me and HELP me to bring my son up. GOD it is so hard, but I know GOD is with me every step of my journey. It's really hard to deal with especially when your family, friends and co-workers Don't have enough compassion when you are having flair ups and other health issues. Tell your daughter keep holding on because she is a Lupus Warrior. Stay blessed. I will pray for her as well.

When I hear this song, I can't help but think about the worst period in my life (August 2013-December 2015). All in that time span, I had a loved one sentenced to prison for a shocking crime, I had to deal with a breakup (which was a blessing in disguise actually), looking for a job and the death of my paternal grandmother. I can only say that it was the grace of God that kept me from losing my mind, getting strung out on drugs (cause I definitely had moments of wanting to self-medicate the pain) and failing at succeeding with my suicidal ideations. Most of all, it taught me that despite the inevitable, you can make it through. Don't rush it, keep putting your best foot forward and better days will come in due time. #ThankGod4Lifelines

I love how they sing off each other. I grew up next door to the Snyman family and so recall how they sang as a family. Their late sister was the alto and she hit the high notes. I marvelled at their talent then and now. When I am in South Africa I love going to church with Bernie who sings so unselfishly and her voice fills the entire church.
