My wife is 8 months pregnant and as she was driving today, she got involved in a terrible head collision accident. Her car was pushed away 15 metres away while she was inside. I thank God she survived and the baby is okay. God is great. 🙏🙏

I was involved in a car accident my friend died on the spot and God saved me, if you're here let me tell you this...God is real.
Anybody noticed how Whitney knew how to collaborate with singers and by not overshadowing them with her divine vocal abilities. She learned early how to play with others in the sandbox. She is a phenomenal singer who had a great voice but knows how to taper it when singing with others. She had master control of her voice. My all time female vocalist. I still remember a news interview with CeCe, around the time of the revelations about Whitney's addiction. The interviewer attempted to get CeCe to admit to Whitney's troubles. CeCe, with a smile and great wisdom, refused to take the bait, and professed, "we will continue to love and pray for her!" I still remember that, to this day!
I watched a TBN Praise the Lord episode where Cece was leading worship I think and I remember she prayed specifically for Whitney ... around 2010 or 2011 if I recall. That's real friendship that they had ❤

I remember during the holidays about a year ago, my mom bought a Whitney Houston/CeCe Winans compilation CD. Initially, I was a little annoyed and as much as I love both artists didn't really want to listen to it. My little sister was in the hospital critically ill. At her physician's suggestion,we were deciding whether or not we would make her comfortable or allow her to continue fighting. I'd been trying to conceal it for my mother's sake, but on the inside I was an emotional nervous wreck. I'd took a break from college. I was working at a job that I didn't like. My life seem like it had no other direction but to talk to God.Life felt like a washing machine and I was in spin cycle. I was the definition of depressed. I'd been spending more time with God praying, worshiping, spending time in my word that year that I'd ever had before.This song came on as we were talking about what we should do in the parking lot.I felt as if the Holy Spirit was singing and speaking to me..to us, even ministering to our spirits and lending his hand to us asking us just to trust him. I'd heard this song many many many times before, but I'd never ever it like that.It was beautiful. It filled me with peace and joy. Like God heard us....he saw us...he really WAS close to the brokenhearted and he really DID save the crushed in spirit. He really WAS in the boxing ring with us fighting our battles.The line that struck me the most was "Don't be afraid." Perfect love knows no fear.I think of other friends, that have come and gone , but most of all I think of the constant friend that I've had in the Lord. He's a friend like no other. Turns out there was a slight mishap in her surgery.She's still here. As I'm typing this, we've been at the hospital for about a week but like the Lord did it last time. I know she'll make it through this time. Be Blessed

I think about how selfless Whitney was on her movie soundtracks. When the producers just wanted her to do the entire thing, she included other women to shine with her and it surely gave other's a bigger stage and greater exposure. She was extremely confident in her own gift and loved other singers.

There voice is like the Perfect Sequence together. It mesh so beautifully together. You can tell that Whitney was a big fan of CeCe.
It's almost impossible to hold yr own vocally against the likes of Ms Houston, but CeCe did just that. She matched her note per note!
This was not just a song for the both of them. They we’re actually best friends.💞
And that's why this duet is beautiful. They fed off each other rather than competing (then again, many of Whitney's duets didn't seem competitive, save for the Aretha duet). You can actually feel the camaraderie between Whitney and whoever sang with her. That's rare, actually. This wasn't Mavis Staples and Aretha Franklin battling against each other like they did on "Oh Happy Day" lol

My wife is 8 months pregnant and as she was driving today, she got involved in a terrible head collision accident. Her car was pushed away 15 metres away while she was inside. I thank God she survived and the baby is okay. God is great.
