The Fendi bag is BRIGHT lol! It went from the sombre, black Dior to the Fendi pop of color, but the craftsmanship is incredible. I would have never thought you could "do" different size sequins WITH beading - it's really a labor of love and definitely a great anniversary piece. (You don't have to answer this if you don't want to/it's too personal: but do you set aside a yearly budget for your handbags, or do you just purchase them whenever there's one that really catches your eye? I only ask because I always struggle to know what's an appropriate budget range for the things I love/how to prioritize which item I love best, if that makes sense.)

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but on the Dior bag the clip that is big is because it is the same kind of brass clip that we use for horse leads/halters etc. I think it's a horsey nod to the saddle design and history of saddle type bags in general. As a horse person it makes me like it more, but I get why it perhaps isn't as elegant

It's a beautiful bag for sure and maybe because of how big that hardware is it is more noticeable but the gold on the bag appears to be a lot more yellow than the hardware on the strap at least it does to me.

I’ve been wearing the bag more and that short strap seems to be softening up and is starting to flatten out on its own which is great!
