Mr. & Mrs. B = Joan and Sidney Burstein who purchased Browns in 1970. The original store was in South Molton and Browns acquired quite a few of the little stores in the late-70s/80s that mostly inter-connected, and also other separate stores such as in Sloane St. Farfetch bought Browns in 2015 and it moved to Brook St. quite recently. They have a room devoted solely to trainers/sneakers and another room that's just an experiential space. Love the Milanese jewellery/jewelry. Sounds like a wonderful trip.

Michelle, Did you know that the Liberty store in London was constructed from the timbers of two decommissioned Royal Navy ships, back in 1924? That's why it has all the naughtical embelishments all the way through the store & the weatherviein on top is an nod to the Mayflower ship from 1920.
Not just a pretty store to look at but steeped in history for sure.

I’m usually not a fan of yellow lenses but these were stunning maybe they were different because you did mention they weren’t polorized. Michele, I shared all of your travel vlogs with my niece who will be in Europe for the first time later this year as a graduation present. She recently went to NYC again and wore an amazing pair of low-rise Versace pants that her father had given her mother about two decades ago. She will have three weeks in Europe, so I am hoping she can discover some designer consignment shops in Italy, France and the UK...if that even is a thing abroad. The bunny painting reminds me of my late Great Pyrenees whose favorite activity was to sit and watch the wild bunnies play in our neighbor's backyard. I love the puzzle bag in the small Michele! Great choice! I have it in the tan smooth leather. And great that you got it now because I heard they are discontinuing the original design and will have only the puzzle ‘edge’ bag which is made of fewer puzzle pieces.

I’ve been using a sewing kit that I got in a hotel room when in China since 1996. It finally had the threads used up, and the scissors were shot. Like you, I have not found any tiny traveler’s sewing kits that are sturdy. I loved the one that you got in London! I want the one you got in London.

I still wear a plain, light-weight cashmere black crew neck pullover that I got in Rome, decades ago. It has even escaped our moths. I plan to get the black-diamond band from Luna -- thanks for the discount code. Prada should make that particular shopping bag in cream leather -- it's elegant and sophisticated, a definite keeper. I do not recall Browne's Brown's? Anything to simulate Barney's. Nothing like it. Nothing like Bendels either. 😍
I own the Gucci hat as well. I am so surprised how frequently I grab it. It goes quite well when worn with the metallic COS dress. If you adore bunnies, the neo-expressionist artist Hunt Slocum offers a true bunny fest
I have a pair of vintage Chanel sunglasses that have the lighter lens like your Gucci pair. While I know Vegas gets way more sun than Michigan, I like to wear mine on days where it is slightly overcast but still bright. They work great on days like that.

Love your new pieces! I would love to see a silk top collection video, I’ve hauled so many from Loewe, Casablanca and Toteme…I find that my Loewe silk tops are the most expensive, yet the most sensitive…is that bc the silk is higher quality or lower quality that makes them sooo delicate?
My Casablanca and Toteme silk tops can be worn several times, but even sitting in the closet Loewe silk will easily dent, and are easy to stain. Would love your professional opinion given your training! TY 🥰
