Gave away my little sister a few years ago. I know it’s not exactly the same, but I played a big part in raising her. Told my now brother in-law, in no uncertain terms, that I’d hurt him if he hurt her. Pretty positive they will make it the long haul, but don’t hurt my girl.
My daughter turns 16 in December. I am in that stage. 20 questions all the time

Agreed Birdman definitely needs to be put on an album. I ran across the live music video and that was my first thought. In the live video if you ever want to check it out he's singing it to his little girl that him and his wife adopted. Super sweet moment. 😊

Pretty sure if my dad heard this he would say this is 100% how he feels about me and my sister. To every guy that we have brought home to him he will try to scare them and he has said and I quote, "I just got out of jail for beating up the last guy who hurt my daughter and I ain't afraid to go back" lol. Or he will say to them "Just so you know I don't like you." When he says this stuff my sister and I just roll our eyes at him and groan and tell him to stop, but I can tell he's trying to protect us and it's hard for him to share us with another Male lol. Good song I love it! 😊
lol...oh yeah...all Dad's feel that way. The first guy who takes my little girl out is probably not gonna like me very much...lol. But he will respect and fear me...lol.
It's great you're protective of your daughter but good luck with that. My Dad tried to protect me that way and all it did was push me harder to them. Let your daughter have a life let your daughter have some fun, just talk to your daughter and keep an open line of communication. That will help you more than anything can. I do love the song it was clever

@@BirdmansPlace Of course the only song I remember hearing from him is the song you mentioned That Ain’t My Truck. But if I look up his other songs I’m sure I’ll remember hearing more. Some songs I don’t always realize it’s that specific artist. The radio doesn’t say who sings them much anymore.
