Superb G ma man,. Love your work ,Do it right the first time and fingers crossed. If your ever in the mood a E61 525i 2005 are great cars, would like to see you have a go one one of them. All the best.
Great that the project has been successful you have done well and created good utube content .Can you explain whether the ecu required any alteration to recognise the new engine or any new equipment installed which is monitored by the ecu?
George mate you got to up your game and get a unit like Matt Armstrong, Chris Slix, Dean from saving salvage and the not economically viable channels. You’ve said about building your dream garage but you haven’t moved any further forward with it. Now if you had a unit you could be making much more content and blow your channel up. Don’t get me wrong I love your channel but I want to see you up there with the others as I think you definitely have what it takes. Please don’t take this as a criticism 👍
my n47d20a cylinder 2 liner broke. I rebuilt the whole engine, new engine block, new oil pump, new injectors, everything cost me 3,356 pounds, I know how you feel at this moment
@@GeorgeAusters personally id stick to Bmw mate, maybe look at 3.0d 3.5d etc youve Done some lovely 2ds, the trouble with other manufacturers is, for example Vauxhall, they are just cheap run abouts and even the Vxr range is “chav”. Fords are ok ish, mercs are nice, Vws are lovely but very pricey, on a budget i think bmws are awesome to work on :), loving your work though George, the X5 you did was amazing and i personally learnt alot from you with that for my e70 x5 i have too..
well done! However If the guys make several engines per week makes me question the build of these engines from factory as I.m sure not everyone neglects thaeir cars so badly at such a high rate ... Anyway I'm glad you made the right call after all
Hi George, bit of advice please, as you are very clued up on BMW’s. Been out of BMW ownership for 5 years now, want to get back into one, but I have a small family, so I’ve been looking at the F10 5 series. There’s a 523i I’ve seen that I like the look of, good spec and price, only 85k on the clock. Not sure of the engine code on these, but I know that most 6 cylinders BMW engines are solid aren’t they? I would be going for a manual as well, less to go wrong! And I like changing gears myself. Would this be a good choice for a daily/family car? Are there many problems to look out for? Thanks in advance mate
E90 220i low oil pressure warning light.. Oil Pressure Control Solenoid replaced Could it be leaking injector causing oil contemplation and bringing the light..or just has to be oil pump 🥶
mate i watch every episode and im not having a dig but when are you going to sort out your camera settings the exposure and intensely high black point contrast + no lighting in every video just makes it so hard to watch half the time we cant even see what your pointing at
I’ve been using my old DSLR lately as im having audio issues with my 90D so quality isn’t quite 4K good at the moment. Bare in mind that I have to do everything myself, I don’t have a cameraman so sometimes it’s difficult to get every shot spot on while trying to talk to and work to the camera
good job on that 320d bro ..couldn't have asked for a more better ending👌👊
You've worked hard on that car and the end result was what I expected. Well done George. 😉

Nothing is required but best to reset adaptations like I did👍🏻
I was going to say it runs very rough, but then wow, it runs sweet 🎉
Yes it does!

The problem is people follow BMWs guidelines for oil changes which leads to premature failure

Just wondering why you didn’t turn the engine over with injectors disconnected to build up oil pressure before start up
Cheers
I did turn it over loads before it fired up👍🏻

Yes
