Here’s the thing about narc abuse. People play nice with them even seeing what horrible people they are IF it benefits them. Then the narc never learns or loses. B and J and H all knew Jeff was a narc and saw and heard how he acts and what he says but stuck around to be his friend- until the narc turned on them! Next time let’s not pay these abusers attention no matter how self serving it is. A narc will always eventually turn on you or take you down. It was just their turn - they should have seen it coming and the fact they WERE friends with him says a lot. Self serving people I don’t feel badly for in this circumstance even though I adore all three of them. They played with the narc that hurt so many before them and they saw that and stuck around until it was their turn. Imagine what Jeff says behind his friends backs- all of them. If a friend speaks about their friend badly behind the back imagine what they say about YOU too. Jeff is awful on podcasts- imagine behind closed doors what he says.

So ironic that the 2 people aligned with JL that had issues with you, are now both kicked out of his “inner circle.” I wonder if Megan being sober (if see still is) has made her a nicer person & she took off the beer googles and can see JL for who he really is; a self centered user who hates women.
My dad has stage 4 cancer and my sister and I are living with him taking turns caring for him. Today while she was driving away for her break, we were both like…I’m so glad Heather is back! You’re the comedic break and joy we need in our life. Listening to the end of this ep where you discuss that awful situation, screw those people. I never believed it and love you regardless!

Agree, she didn't menti9n one of the biggest stars in the world being back on stage after 2 years of dealing with a devastating illness. Celine had rave reviews!

Regarding your earring situation. It is text book Laws of Human Nature by Robert Greene. Highly recommend the book. Most people people wear a mask and I can imagine in California and Hollywood it's even more so.

You talk about scams; we have the 'shaky lady' here in Toronto, Canada. She is constantly shaking and begging for $$ and then gets up and walks away (when she thinks no one is looking) and isn't shaking at all....and gets in to an expensive car which her son drives......

The opening ceremony for the Olympics was not supposed to be the last supper, the organizers that put it together said it was a tribute to the 17th century painting, Feast of the Gods, from the Greek gods.

My husband and I renewed our vows at the American Church in Paris in June of this year and the weather was amazing. It did rain every morning but it was so lovely. We also did a private tour of Versailles and a private chauffeured tour in London and fell in love with the city!

Welcome back! Re: the last supper, we know it’s a painting lol… But it is a painting that has reverence for Jesus Christ and the apostles. The Olympics open ceremony’s interpretation of or call to something very sacred to Christians did not show reverence (including a naked “god” as a clear example).

It was offensive to me to combine what I see to be a clear depiction of Jesus in a tongue and cheek way with a Greek “god.”

Heather your trip sounds so You and perfect. We have always travelled in the spring. Did a week in Tuscany at a cooking program. Was fabulous. We went to marvelous restaurants, shopped in Florence. Learn to cook with the Italian Grandmas. Another time toured in Rome with a private historian who took us around and it was fabulous. You can plan this ahead of time in any city in the world and it is not expensive. They get you through fast and the stories are incredible. No scams because you read reviews ahead. In Paris I got to see Mona Lisa in front of everyone. Rolled in a wheelchair because my private guide knew that I could. I had fallen and had a limp. I was able to get in fast and in front of everyone. So funny.

it is so true this type of thing has happened to me and it is so hard to be used. No more. It is heartbreaking but empowering when u are able to rid yourself of their bs and not allow it to happen ever again. it makes u guarded but who cares now. our our college kids are more fun than the grifters who want to bring us down out of jealousy❤
I think the point Heather might be missing is that she minimizes the value of other people's property and what it means to them based on what she appraises it to be; its monetary value or if they lent it out etc. That doesn't mean the lost property owner isn't allowed to be annoyed if you lose it and then say nothing about it. That's not cool. The onus is on the one who lost the lent item to fess up and offer to replace it as a coutesy to a friend...not when you're pressured by social media antics (of people without your best interests at heart). Skipping over that part to get to the bit were the person who's property you lost behaves badly towards you as a result of your actions is a bit cringe.

The point is, it’s totally fine to rub Christian’s noses in something that we see as sacred. Not the picture of the interpretation of the last supper, but what it represents. To some, their sexuality is sacred, to a Christian, my relationship with Christ is sacred and by extension a man’s relationship with a woman. I don’t expect anyone to understand that, unless you believe the same. If you don’t, that’s fine. But respect goes both ways. It’s totally acceptable to make fun of Christian, to offend them, to mock them. It is NOT acceptable to laugh, make fun, criticize any other “protected” group. THAT is the point. So, let’s stop with the name calling. It totally negates your demand for respect by doing that.

Probably more sanitary than using a cheap plastic Mr. Coffee since you’re not really touching handles and you’re just popping in a pod. Use a Nespresso machine you will never want Keurig again.
I know a hassle, but I find a local coffee shop, delay my coffee fix until I can get there!
