The shape of the airfoil I got from the website identified in my notes, but the size I selected based on the size limits of the 3D printer I planned to print it on and the size limits of our vacuum forming machine.
You may have to edit the lines. Check to see if there is a gap or overlap at the trailing edge. Even if it isn't closed, you may be able to extrude a contour rather than the entire sketch. Send me the .sldprt file with the sketch if you can't make it work. dabbott@smccme.edu
I don't know the answer to that question. I just used a common angle for this demo, but wind blade designers probably have done testing on different angles and may have a means of calculating for various applications.
Hello Daniel I’m having an issue when transferring the text file onto solid works to get the shape. It’s coming up with an error message when selecting the file. Any idea?
It’s all good I was using the x, y and z way but watched more of your video and seen I could just sketch over it instead. At 17 minutes when your shape changes from that though how does that happen?

Hi, is there a place where the rotation angle for each profile sketch can be found?
The profile of the end was rotated 10 degrees, but that value is not captured in the history of the solid since it was done in the sketch.

there need to be some script that place different blade profiles stored in a excel file on multiple parallel planes in sold works at once

I'd have to know what the warning was. Make sure your settings match those on the video.

The part that inserts into the hub? Convert entities and extrude, if I understand you correctly.
