Create a Modern Desk Lamp in 3DS Max | Hanora 3D

In this tutorial, we will create a simple but stylish 3D model of a modern desk lamp using 3DS Max. Even though many 3D shapes can be used to build a desk lamp, we will be using an N-Gon as the base object for this tutorial. N-gons are polygons with any number of sides. They are a versatile shape that can be used to create a wide variety of objects. Once we have our base object, we will use modifiers in 3DS Max to add detail and shape it into a lamp.
