Been waiting for this. As a resident of Ohio this is on my list to look at. I do have some concerns and questions regarding barrel saunas though. I know there is some hate online for this shape vs a “true Finnish sauna”. Amy thoughts or comments on that? And/or temp measurements near your feet on he floor vs your head up high? Great review though, certainly still on my list! Keep it up
Hey I get it. There’s a lot of options and opinions. Cool thing is you can lift your feet up on the bench or wall like I demoed in the video but it’s all really preference. I genuinely enjoyed my experience in this sauna.
Does Sisu offer any installation services, even if it’s just recommendations? Thinking about getting one of these for a short term rental I own in Colorado
Another excellent video, as usual. Couple questions. 1. Can this be disassembled if you want to take to a new house? 2. Do you recommend adding a small fan on the floor to circulate the heat 3. Do you know if they offer an active duty military discount? Thanks again!
It's easy enough to find infrared saunas locations however can't find one with a thigh heat sauna somewhere, any places around Tampa? Makes it easier for people to make the jump up.
@@DavidMausJr OK thanks for the reply. I'm not sure if you misunderstood my question or if the wood quality was the major difference. Just to be clear- How do the Sisu saunas you have reviewed compare to a comparable model from Redwood Outdoors?
Sauna purist hate barrels. Mostly because the Finnish way to the have high ceiling, and “feet above the rocks”. But if you are looking to just get hot and then cold for contrast therapy then they work.
Just watched the installation, very clear and simple
I love that you had a real customer review this as well!
Glad you liked it!! Seemed too cool not to include. He was put on the spot. Lol
Wow this is amazing, thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge of both units
Glad it was helpful!
Great walkthrough! We've only heard good things about the folks at Sisu Sauna.
Great job! I love saunas! Thanks for the information!
Game changer!
I love Saunas as well, they have great benefits that many still to this day are not aware of, great for after workout or just relaxing

They don’t do that themselves but any local handy man can knock it out. Super easy to build just takes time

Which lock did you order for your sauna? Just ordered a sisu myself and will need a lock like that for the kiddos

Totally. Maybe I should start a brick and mortar? With enough demand I’d do that.
Come back to CLE soon! Nice bumping into you
Great meeting you brother! Meeting you on a run was a highlight of an epic trip for sure.
Question???? Does the sauna have the purple led lights? Or is that something you have to add?
You can easily add led lights to the saunas and thats what a lot of people do.
@@DavidMausJr any recommendations on type or brand?
How long does it take to heat up to 200+ degrees?
Depends on where it’s at. Could be 20-30 mins could be closer to an hour.
How does it compare to Redwood?
The wood used is very different. Sisu wood is one of my favorite woods of any Sauna ive reviewed.

You like this type of sauna better than the plunge sauna?
Both are excellent it comes down to your preference of looks. Both are the highest quality and excellent heat (230). That’s a hard pick.

Nice!

For sure and totally get that. Those options are out there too.
if you bump into the heater i'm assuming your leg will get burned?
Oh yeah. Don’t do that. Lol
