These coups are happening in the former colonies of the French because they all share the same challenges that are being ignored by their leaders who are in the pockets of the French and so run their countries to please not their people, but to instead please the French and the people of these countries are fed up. They see their countries and people threatened and destabilised by terrorist groups and the problem left unresolved because their leaders prefer to please the French. They see their economies trapped in poverty due to unfair trade deals with the French concerning their natural resources that are daylight robbery unchallenged by their leaders to please the French. They see their currencies weak and attached to the French Franc when they can be stronger and attached to the minerals of their nations and the nations of the continent and nothing is done to change this by their leaders to please the French. They see a democratic process in which parties are funded by foreign entities and given media air time only if they air and promote views that please the French and other former colonia powers and their friends and nothing is done to change this, so their democratic process too is also under attack to be manipulated not to serve the people of their countries, but to serve the needs and wishes of the French. All these things are in glaring view of the people in these former colonies of the French and they have had enough. All these coup leaders have done is exposed the fraud that is taking place and exposed the fact that the people have had enough and if given the opportunity will air their views that they are sick of the political system and leaders the system is putting in front of them. What they need is the time and space to deal with these issues and to make a plan that will deal with these issues and to have the support of their brothers and sisters across the African continent as they try to make their democracies produce a platform from which leaders that reflect the will and true concerns and priorities of the people have media time and funding to let people be aware of their existence as an option to vote for, so that their wishes and concerns are not pushed out of view by the media power, influence and funding of the French and former colonial powers and their friends. This is vital if they are to ensure they have true democracy in their countries and not the democratic fraud their countries have been forced into and that silences them and ignores their concerns and priorities, unless a coup leader appears to put an end to the facade that is their politicians pretending to govern for them when they simply govern to please the French and former colonial powers and their friends. If the politicians all presented as options to vote for put forward policies that serve only to please the French and there is no politician available to vote for who attends to the concerns of the people, it is clear then that the democratic process is being manipulated by those foreign entities it serves and changes need to take place in the democratic process to protect the democracies of those countries from those foreign government dominating the system with their funding and media influence before elections for a civilian government in which the deposed leader can participate are arranged and the military of Niger need time and support from their neighbours and brother and sister across the continent in achieving these changes in preparation for elections. In fact the deposed leader could contribute to arranging a better and fairer democtratic process and system and should support it if he cares for his people and his country. The same flawed democratic system cannot continue if the country is to break free from poverty and achieve both security from the terrorism that threatens them and productive development across their country. The complaints and concerns of those who have made the coup in Niger on behalf of the people of Niger who have come out on the streets to support them need to be taken seriously by ECOWAS and the African Union because these complaints and concerns are so obviously valid and shared by other countries of the region who too have turned to coups to give their people a chance to let it be known they have had enough of this never ending colonial interference in their stability, in their economy and natural resources, in their democracy and in their currency and its attachment to the French Franc.
