I was 15 when this came out. I got it four days before the offical release because our local music shop would hook us up like that (town of 5,000 people). Walked out of The Music Shop, hopped in my cousins car, opened it, threw it in the cd player; and holy shit. It stayed in his cd player for a few days. That is all we listened to, because we kept hearing new shit ee missed every time we listened.

It's been my alarm for 20+ years.
I've played this in voice calls so many times, and it makes people jump and be startled, every time.
1st half the song: "RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHGHHGGGG!!!!"
2nd half the song: "OOOH! groovy Solo time."
One of my favorite alltime outros, it sounds like an unstoppable menacing force is rising in the distance with lightning and fire beyond the mountain tops to assert dominance throughout the lands.

The outro and solo in this is off the hook! Kind of reminds me of the outro in Death's A Moment of Clarity. Very different but just as epic.

Seen Pantera seven times and I think I heard TGSTK played once, they're gonna be touring in 2023 on a "reunion" tour so maybe they play it then but I doubt it

One of my top 10 albums. Probably top 5 to be honest.
I remember being a teenager, buying this album on cd and loving it so much that one day coming home from school, feeling tired, going into my room, pressing play on my cd player, cranking the volume, laying in bed and falling asleep to this album playing. Why? Because I wanted Pantera in my subconscious mind, not just while I was awake.

Love the channel. I'd check out some Avenged Sevenfold if you haven't already. Save Me is a masterpiece off the Nightmare album. It's on another level.
The whole album is amazing..it was also at the height of Phil's herion use. Thats why you'll hear alot of low voiced stuff. Like the song "a good friend and a bottle of pills. He recorded the vocals separately in Louisiana cause he was to messed up to go anywhere.
