I watched the NTPA grand national points championship in Lincoln at the state fair from 1986-1990, a lot of 1700+ cubic inch Allison V12 engines. I later went to an event where a guy pulled with a Rolls Royce V12, I thought they said 2290 cubic inches. You could hear and feel how much bigger that V12 was
