Saw Nutz in the Marquee club in Wardour St, London in around 1975 with Paul Dianno and Steve Loopy Newhouse ( Clive Burr's drum technician. Both of Iron maiden ) Loved them from the get go. Still listen to Nutz now

My band was lucky enough to support Nutz when they played in Harold Hill in the mid 70s. Great band, fabulous live act, really good people. They deserved to have been much bigger than they were.

MY late huysband Fran Kenny(who passed away in 2015) and who was the lead guitarist in an Irish band named Orchard Rain, played in Dublin with Nutz in the middle seventies. Great band.

Mick Davenport was doing stuff about 10 years ahead of its time. wonderful guitarist and band..live they were fantastic...but I always found most of their studio albums rather weakly produced and didnt seem to carry over the energy and passion these guys had. A shame..with the right producer they could have been massive.

Brilliant - saw them twice -
supporting Queen and Heavy metal kids -
much better live than on record.
Great guitarist (similar to Ronnie Montrose) and drummer (RIP)
All indie kids should be MADE to watch this - and then we tell them -
that's how it SHOULD be done!

Good stuff. Saw them supporting Sabbath at the Hammersmith Odeon - 1977 Technical Ecstasy tour. Really strong.
A year later Van Halen were in the same spot. I heard it cost nuts 3 thousand quid to get on that tour . (Addled memory from 40 years ago note). Guessing VH paid about the same to support the Sabs a year later - and that after parachuting into the Stones gig at Knebworth for some bizarre reason... maybe I dreamed that though - can't possibly be real. Either way this guy is one hell of a guitar player. Wondering if he saw Eddie VH or if Eddie saw him. You can hear the Hendrix in both of them plus something special - perhaps these stylistic things just emerge simultaneously around the world though. Pretty sure if his solos had been on a single in 1977 we would have bought them - same as we did Eddie's. Before punk every show had them and we teens lived for them.
