    Hey watching from South africa wanna say really loved but I did find it a bit to fast ... but anyway it was a really great breakdown 😊

      That’s cool to hear! I’d love to go there someday! I’ll keep that in mind in the future and try to slow down a bit on the breakdowns.

    Is there anyway to get a chord chart? I’m still struggling!! Thanks

      Here is a link to the Chord Chart for I Thank God. For the alternate bridge, I'm not sure if there is a decent chord chart. Thanks for watching.

    hey what keyboard are you using? that piano tone is excellent. the tone is amazing...you can tell every single key you hit...

      Thank you. I am using a Yamaha MX61 It's a smaller keyboard, but has a nice sound! One thing that also helps, is I always use the stereo option whenever I play any keyboard, this way you get a more full sound.

    You mentioned POA- in the title:
    do you ever listen to 1st Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock?
    I’m not a fan of the background vocals on the song (I Thank God), but their arrangement is wicked sick. The way they vamped the ending to include Ricky Dillards’ “I’m Free” is very nice.

      Oh, that's cool. I've heard of the church, and they have a great band! I've not familiar with that version of "I Thank God". I'll have to check it out.

    Can you tell me where you found the click track for this song?

    • @jonathanstephensmusic
      @jonathanstephensmusic  3 года назад +1

      That's a generic loop that I can use on multiple songs, and adjust to whatever BPM I need. I use Ableton Live to run loops and tracks.

    • @jonathanstephensmusic
      @jonathanstephensmusic  3 года назад

      I may have gotten this particular loop from a friend who has a pack of loops you can download for free. Check out this video for details: ruclips.net/video/dVwxw4TYtVw/видео.html

    It would be helpful if the chords in the video were in flat not sharp chords since it’s the key of Db.

      I know! 🤦🏻‍♂ I didn't notice that until after I uploaded the video. Moving forward, that's what I've tried to do!

      If you just move everything I did up a whole step, you should be good to go. Also thinking about music in terms of numbers rather than letters can help.

      On this one I tried to stop between each section and slow it down a little, but I probably could have explained myself better.
